I should have both applicable proposed player profiles sent to you by sometime today, hopefully, jg3977. I've already got D.J. Freeman's done by now, but not Otis Garber's yet. I think I can have it done and sent to you along with D.J. Freeman's one, by evening my time, meaning by 6 pm or so Central Time, at the very latest. So please wait for them to come your way and then please check them both out before you advance to 1904. Thank you. CD out.

The sooner you get them done, the better. I'd like to progress to 1904 by tomorrow morning.

I'm currently working on Otis Garber's profile now, in fact, jg2977. You're already in 1904, as evidenced by the Hall of Fame-related posts a couple of posts ago, but probably not far into it as of yet. Should hopefully be able to send them to you within an hour or two, if all goes sufficiently according to plan, actually. Please stay tuned. Thank you. CD out.

I simmed to the Hall of Fame voting results, but haven't progressed to the 1904 preseason yet.

Looking forwards to seeing how well Houston and Florida can do against the Cardinals and other teams in the NL, in due time, once Otis and Bradley have each entered their primes. Jerry Holmes shouldn't be too far off from his prime now, either, I think, at the rate that he's most likely developing here at this point in his career, as well. I haven't decided Hugh's likely starting team just yet in MLB, and I probably won't decide that until around the end of the 1905 season, I think, for I have him scheduled to potentially debut in 1906, if memory serves me correctly here, jg2977. I think I'll probably propose him strictly as a pitcher, but not quite sure yet, to be honest. Just so you know this for sure here, of course. CD out.

Players are created, ready to simulate 1904. I’ll post the standings on July 1st so that we can see who’s in contention.

IPA 1904 Standings on July 1, 1904
If the season ended today, the Ruthlandian Union playoff teams would be the defending Pro Cup champ Stoner Silver Sox, Beechwood Blues, Far Mountain Redhawks, and either the San Dimas Rancheros or Glasco Celtics.
The Tycobbian Union playoff teams would be the Blue Lake Blue Caps, Denton City Redbirds, Hillsboro Blazers and Midway Wolves. Defending TU champ Fairfax is in the hunt, only two games behind Midway for the final playoff spot. |

MLB 1904 Standings on July 1, 1904
In the American League, the cities in the Northeast are very excited. The AL is led by the surprising Hartford Huskies, followed by the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. Toronto is in position for the final playoff spot. The Chicago White Sox, who finished with 116 wins last season, are struggling to stay above .500 and are 43-41, but are only 4 games out of the final playoff spot. Seattle is making a push, currently on a 10-game winning streak and only 3 games back.
In the National League, the playoff teams would be the St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and defending World Series champ San Francisco Giants. Last edited by jg2977; 12-03-2022 at 01:24 PM. |

Pennant Chase - top 4 teams qualify for postseason
The New York Yankees are on an incredible 38-game win streak! The 4 NL playoff teams are basically already set, The 5th place Arizona Diamondbacks are mathematically alive, but 10 games behind San Francisco. Last edited by jg2977; 12-03-2022 at 01:34 PM. |
