I wish that we could customize the baseball cards so that they show the stats and info that we want on them. It would be nice if the city of birth was listed on the card. Don't need the Player ID# at all.

To have certain game schedules in use for at least one league in a certain dynasty, you evidently will have to go to the then-applicable league for a particular dynasty of yours, and then look under the League Settings submenu for it. Then you will need to click on the Options tab, and look on the right side of the next in-game screen, to see currently-active details related to the schedule settings and all, it seems.

You should then look at the line immediately under the line with the checkbox for Allow Rainouts, whether checked or unchecked. You will then see text that says "Schedule loaded from file:" To the right of that on the same line should give you the name of the schedule file your league is currently using for itself. At the end of the line, there is a right-pointing >. You will want to click on that during the offseason or preseason, which are the only times you can actually change the relevant schedule in use for a particular season.

Once you click on that, you can choose the desired schedule to use for the league, if one isn't automatically chosen already, from the available schedule directory in the then applicable version of the game. Of course, you will want to choose a schedule that is compatible with your desired setup, and your preferred season length and all, for the best possible results when it comes to such things, you know, jg2977. I generally do not mess with schedules if I don't have to, for obvious reasons, though. CD out.

jg2977, please look at post 4 in the Schedules subform's top stickied thread. EC's schedule is the only 64-team 154-game schedule present in the relevant portion of the schedule list mentioned in that post. There are also several 162-game schedules available for 64-team league setups that are listed immediately below the line that has the relevant link to EC's schedule for it. Perhaps one or more of those schedules would meet sufficiently with your approval here, somehow. CD out.

Is there a schedules folder in the OOTP folder? Just wondering what to do after downloading a schedule file.

The desired schedule would have to be downloaded to the appropriate schedules subfolder if it's not already there, for the relevant OOTP version, it seems to me, jg2977. Just so you know. That obviously goes for any other schedule that you download that isn't already present in such a subfolder, of course. CD out.

In OOTP 22, the way to get to the schools list is as follows, it seems to me:

1. Load desired dynasty
2. Game Tab (Second tab on main screen)
3. Explore World
4. Schools Page Tab
5. Click on columns or work with filters and all as desired, to order as desired and all
6. Get desired ID numbers
7. Repeat as needed until done with desired searching and all

I don't know if this process works in OOTP 23 yet, of course, but I strongly suspect that it may actually work there as well, in like manner to such above-listed actions in OOTP 22 or prior versions of OOTP Baseball here, jg2977. CD out.

Thank you. I needed to add a school for one of my players, Jesse Pinkman (of Breaking Bad). In the show he went to J.P. Wynne High School in Albuquerque, NM, but in real life that school is called Rio Rancho High School. I know that there is a way to add schools to the list, but it involves completely reloading the database, and I don't want to get into that. So I just used Rio Rancho.

CD, I'll be on vacation from work next week. So it will be a good time for me to post reports for all of your players. I'm thinking that since I'll have extra time for OOTP, it will be a good time for me to set up my MLB association within my IPA. So rather than wait until 1901, I'll add it for either 1895 or 1896.

Actually, I still think you should seriously consider waiting to add MLB for your dynasty until the 1901 season, jg2977. It would probably be much easier to calculate the true number of seasons for MLB and its member teams, if you'd then start in 1901, I think, for you. And go from there, of course. Just my opinion, though, you know.

Plus it would probably give you at least a bit more time to request different sufficiently useful uniforms, caps, and logos for the needed teams, supposing you don't already have them collected by now, as well. Surely the Hartford Huskies could use some additional items for them too, perhaps. CD out.

Math isn't hard. I think I can handle starting in 1895 or 1896.

I won't need additional uniforms for the Hartford Huskes. Low has already created a terrific set for them.

Or, instead of the Huskies, I could name Hartford the Whalers and use the set that you created.

I looked at the Whalers set that you did at the end of June. I like everything about it except for the fact that there's too much shading for my liking. If you would be willing to redo the with less shading that would be great.

Okay, I'll revisit the Whalers as soon as I can. Let's hold off a little while on the MLB additions, though, so that I can have at least a little time to work on them and perhaps update any teams for your IPA that you may want me to try and update and all, okay?

In the meantime, let's try and see about perhaps establishing some rules for starting teams related to the next generation of players for your dynasty, whether for the IPA or MLB or any other league or leagues you may eventually want to add to it in that specific generation for it. Walton will have sons, but they probably won't be old enough to play in your dynasty until after the second main generation for it begins, I think, jg2977. CD out.

The last option on the right side allows you to set team salary caps, just below the line where you can choose to allow or prohibit contract extensions, The left side basically is used to set up financial and attendance and free agency settings and how many days equal a year of service, as it relates to contracts and all. While the right basically sets revenue and expenses and salary settings, mainly, in turn. Just so you know, boys.

Thanks, I just turned off the financial settings for now as I’d rather not deal with them. I may turn them back on later as I get more information, but it seems really complicated. I think over time we should see things begin to level out among all 64 teams. Nobody with 130 wins or losses.

As for the MLB when I get there I’ll just be using the current uniforms that come with the game. If I use the California Angels name I would download a 1980’s set from the forum. People have created some nice variations for the Montreal Expos too. Or if you want to do your own Expos set that could be interesting. Over time I’ll be expanding to other cities such as Charlotte, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Omaha, New Orleans, Orlando, Indianapolis, Columbus, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Sacramento, Vancouver, and Portland. Maybe even Honolulu, San Juan and Mexico City.

I did some uniforms for the Expos, a good while ago, it seems, but no matching caps yet. Perhaps I'll be able to make up at least one cap to sufficiently match the uniforms I did for them a while back. But please stay tuned here, in the meantime, of course, jg2977. CD out.

The Cardinals' and Phillies' reds are similar enough that they share a Pantone shade (PMS 200 C) but juuuust different enough to have their own hex codes (#C41E3A for the Cardinals and #E81828 for the Phillies). Thanks.
