Player of the Month: Dylan Dreiling -- The 29-year-old outfielder got into 22 games and hit .391 with three home runs, 12 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He got on base at a .473 clip and slugged .609.
Starting Pitcher of the Month: Eric Segura -- The 27-year-old right-hander went 2-2 in six starts with a 2.67 ERA. He pitched a total of 33.2 innings during which he struck out 28 and had a 1.16 WHIP.
Relief Pitcher of the Month: Emmanuel Clase -- The 34-year-old right-hander moved into the closer role and in 11 games went 1-0 with six saves and a 0.00 ERA. He worked a total of 12.2 innings, during which he struck out 14 and had a 1.18 WHIP.

The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired left-handed relief pitcher Juan Amarante from the San Diego Padres in exchange for infielder Boston Baro and minor-league infielder Ruben Perez.
Amarante, 28, has pitched in 31 games for the Padres this season going 5-4 with 17 saves and a 1.64 ERA.
He broke into the majors with San Diego in 2030 and in 148 games has gone 20-13 with 59 saves and a 2.41 ERA.
On the price, what the Cardinals gave up for Amarante seems steep with Baro being a three-time All-Star for St. Louis since being acquired from the Mets as a prospect during the 2026 season.
But since a breakout season in 2028, when he hit .286 with 17 home runs and 72 RBIs, Baro has seen a slight downtick in performance with each successive season.
The 2032 campaign as seen the biggest of all, as in 72 games/67 starts, Baro has hit just .218 with eight home runs and 19 RBIs.
In his six-plus seasons with St. Louis, Baro played in 755 games/695 start and hit .270 with 76 home runs and 297 RBIs.
A former No. 1 prospect in all of MLB, Perez has been unable to overcome a propensity to strike out.
In his career, the 27-year-old has struck out at a 33.7 clip.
He's been given plenty of opportunities in the majors, but in 114 games/112 starts he has hit just .225 with 14 home runs and 52 RBIs
The 2032 season was his worst yet in 36 games/35 starts, he has hit just .178 with five home runs and 16 RBIs.
And he wasn't even worse at AAA Memphis, where in 27games/26 starts he has hit just .153 with five homers and 16 RBIs.

The St. Louis Cardinals have placed right-handed pitcher Eric Segura on the 15-day injured list after he suffered a biceps injury during a 4-3 loss to the San Diego Padres on July 5.
Segura had carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning of that game before giving up a walk and a single.
But he still came out of the inning with a 3-0 lead.
He later discussed issues with his arm in the dugout and was removed from the game.
The Padres scored four times in the bottom of the ninth -- capped by a two-run homer from Ruben Perez, who they had just acquired in a trade from St. Louis -- to win the game 4-3.
Segura is expected to be out for 10 days but will sit for 15.
In 17 starts this season, Segura, 27, is 3-7 with a 3.88 ERA.
His spot in the rotation will be taken by right-handed Devin Sherrin.
Acquired from the Yankees via waivers in the offseason, the 26-year-old started the season in the team's starting rotation but was demoted to AAA Memphis after he went 0-4 with a 4.79 ERA in nine starts.
He has continued to struggle with the AAA Redbirds, going 0-5 with a 7.71 ERA in seven games/four starts.

The St. Louis Cardinals have lost right-handed pitcher David Sanchez after he was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Angels.
Acquired via trade with the Chicago Cubs on Dec. 12, 2030, Sanchez has been given multiples chances to establish a spot on the team as both a starter and a reliever.
This season, he did a little of both going 1-3 with two saves and a 5.36 ERA in 16 games/seven starts.
For his career with the Cardinals, the 25-year-old appeared in 23 games/14 starts and went 2-6 with two saves and a 4.58 ERA.
