One stat that can tell you how bad the opponent is - Lukas Podolski has scored four goals.

I don't think so somehow.

I'm sad that I can't see the game.

If you can handle the Kobe earthquake exhibit at the London Museum you can score a hattrick against San Marino.

I think the vidiprinter can't handle double figure scores, as the last two goals have yet to appear.

Last time a competitive UEFA game where a team scored ten goals or more was on February 28, 2001, in a 2002 World Cup qualifier in Brussels, where Belgium won 10-1 against... yep, San Marino.

France 3-1 lead now, with Govou getting his second, with 10 minutes gone in the second half. Looks like France are getting some revenge for the World Cup final.

An interesting side note is that before the game they had to repaint all the lines today, after they measured the Stade de France pitch out wrongly.

I would tell you that the last time a team scored 11 in a UEFA game was on November 11 1996 when Macedonia won in Liechtenstein, 11-1, but I think Germany may score a few more yet.

And unlike San Marino, Liechtenstein have improved a LOT since then. They are a tough minnow to beat - Sweden had to score two late goals to win tonight, 3-1, and of course they drew with Portugal in the last World Cup qualifying.

The signage in this match with the German lettering and earthy colors give it an unusual surreal atmosphere..matched by the events on the pitch.

The SMers manage to get a ball to hit the side netting. The German GK wont need a shower after the match.
