Minor tweak (not sure it's been mentioned before or not):

Have a team appear with a player's career stats line for a given year only if he played a game for that team in that year. As it stands, a player's first team is listed if he traded in the pre-season, which clutters up that column and makes it confusing to scan ...

Yup, coaches and scouts is weak but this makes it work better. When good coaches and scouts move to a weaker team they make it stronger and vice-versa and forthwith. I find when I do this I can get dynasties like the Yankees of the 50's but they don't last forever as management retires or moves on and gets replaced buy not as good coachers and scouters. I start play with all coaches and scouts average and this develops excellent ones in a pretty realistic way.

Is there a way to turn the autosave off? Say you wanted to sim the season to check stat accuracy. Instead of having to "backup" the league, play the season, verify the stats and then "restore" the previous version to start over, couldn't you just sim the season and re-open the original file to start over?

Adding a list of each team's 40 Man Rosters, Guys who've passed through waivers, and Rule V Draft Elligble Players on the team html pahes would be nice for online leagues.

I'd like to see an option to be able to go ahead and intentially walk a batter when you get a break in the action with 3 balls in the count. A lot of the time I'm trying to pitch around a guy, but he keeps fouling balls off driving up my pitch count, and I'd rather just put him on base and save the pitcher's arm.

Also an option to hit a batter would be nice. There would be a good opportunity to have the possibility of player and manager suspensions factored into something like that as well.

Also on the weak ground ball to first base, I've never seen the first baseman "miss the tag". He always tags the runner for the out. A rare "misses the tag" message would be nice.

It might be interesting to give the team an option to sign a ballpark naming contract with a company for a certain number of years for a price. This could give teams in dire financial straights an additional way to get a little revenue to make a comeback, but could reduce the owners mood or attitude or something like that. The company might also pick up a couple special events a year at the park at their cost as part of the naming package to help improve attendance.

Although it has been said, Taking a pitch with a 3 ball count is really a much needed addition. The realism of letting the career walks leader swing away at 3-0 with the career home runs leader on deck is ridiculous.

I like that players get thrown out of regular season games with some frequency, but when it happens in the playoffs it seems dubious.

I haven't looked at any evidence, but it seems to me that no player is going to get himself tossed from the World Series in the first inning arguing balls and strikes. Perhaps you can turn this down in the playoffs? Or get rid of it altogether?

Not sure if this makes sense or not but I would like to see a browse button so you can select the photo of the player or logo for the team right inside the game.

This is more of a cosmetic type of thing which obviousley are not high priority, but I would like to see more customizeable graphics added. Specifically, on Team screens, where you could maybe create team banners to replace the spot where it says for example "TEAM XYZ Roster" or "TEAM XYZ Rotation"
Maybe even the ability to add minor league logos to the game for possible use in reports, and maybe as watermarks in the transactions screen.

One last thing that would be cool would be to show the player picture on their hall of fame plaque so maybe some of the great graphics creators could create some kind of cooperstown bronze effects on it to look like the actual plaque, or if someone would be so inclined to place a picture of the player's jersey with number and name and team colors.

I would think stuff like this would not be hard to implement, just a matter of if Markus wants to spend the hours necessary to do this. It would be nice though

Not sure if it needs it or not but add me to the list of supporters for the take a pitch when count = 3-0. Then maybe have a guy ignore the take sign based on some of the same ratings that make up fan favorite. No loyalty, bad attitude, no leadership, fans dislike = more likely to ignore the sign.

2) Hitter GB%.

Under league news, for team batting, team pitching, and team fielding, a total for each league is included, but not a 'grand' total. A 'grand' total that sums across all leagues/divisions would be great. This is helpful for those of us who track and adjust league engine settings in season and after each season.
