Please ask if you get a chance. It was more or less announced, and OOTP is the only reason I keep any Windows machines around.

If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

I remember Markus announcing a Linux version too, but I searched and can't find where he first announced. Unfortunately, Marc said there is no plans for a Linux version at the moment.

Sigh. Once again, the fallacious "nobody runs games on Linux" theory put forth by the Windows fanatics wins again.

It's ashame. I would have loved a Linux version myself. If people would just stop with the Winblows stuff and produce the software for Linux, we can make Windows a thing of the past.

What I think is funny is that there are two main reasons people program for Windows vs. Linux. The main reason is that so many people have Windows up and running vs. the Linguy, that is just is common sense to write for a windows based audience. The other is however bad people think Microsoft is, they have some awesome programming tools and have created an enviroment that makes it a lot easier to code then ever before.

Exactly. Some people are afraid to port their programs to Linux, so Linux gets slammed because enough things haven't been ported to it.

It's *really* frustrating. People need to just start porting.
