Anyway, I can understand thinking the league file was a solo league file. I've done it myself a few times. The flaw in this is it doesn't work. You try to sim, and it will ask you for the commissioner's password. Solo leagues aren't password protected. RIGHT THERE before any months are simmed, you're automaticallly clued in to the fact that you're on the league file and not your solo league.

The problem was in my old league barely any owners owned the game so we didnt use the import export feature. So there was no commish password to lemme know what i was doing. I didnt get any warnings or anythign it just started.

The problem is whether you import files or not, a commissioner would always password protect the league in order to keep the "true" ratings hidden, keep owners from editing finances, and any other issues that may come up. And regardless, let's assume you're telling the truth and you didn't have the league password-protected for whatever reason.

Would not you have
a) Set a lineup
b) Noticed no one trading
c) Noticed no one filling in for injuries (pitching spots left blank in the main schedule
d) Noticed ANY other signs of inactivity. We take the CPU activity for granted. Sim a league for 4 months with all owners set to human and you'll see how much it destroys the team.

there was no password because there were no scouts, therefore they already knew the real ratings. And this wasnt a regular solo league it was manager mode, there is a big difference.

well, I did note in my search that it is mentioned that "This league does not allow exports" Thus although a strange thing to do, it would be reasonable to not have commissioner mode on. Thus your story for that checks out. But in my search I came across this thread regarding that same league:

Would you care to clear up some accusations brought up in that, as well? I know you've already answered the 3 world series thing. Whether it is cheating or not is up to interpretation, but you did answer it, so that can be let go. However, if you could answer the following

Specifically...
a) The Francisco Cordero numerous signings/releasings
b) Ryan Christiansen's all-star selection/multiple "first career" messages
c) How Oswalt, Hernandez, and Harden ended up on Seattle
d) Dotel setting a record with 95 games without pitching in that many in the season
e) How did Bonds end up a Mariner?

Within that thread, you never responded to any of these.

Now, I understand that you don't think people will believe you, but just try giving a valid explanation. It seemed illogical to me that a league file wouldn't be password protected, but there is sufficient evidence to show that it wasn't.

I also know what it's like to be a commish and have a dominant team and have accusations thrown at you. It does suck when you haven't done anything wrong. But if you can prove that you didn't cheat rather than simply saying no one will believe you (because I've been trying - hense my research into this), things will be better for everyone.

That was part of the manager mode thing, the controversy was with houston with which was the team I forgot to take their offers off of.

This was due to the manager mode problem as well, as he was an all star in the manager mode season and in the one that i rolled back to.
