For the Bigs it was Glenn O'Hare, Astros & Randolph Butler, Phillies

The Blue Jays had a lead of two or more runs on three separate occasions but the Mariners came catching up. Eventually Seattle won, 10-8, in 13 innings.

Julio de la Cruz, Leonard O'Neill, and Ken Balsdon all homered for Toronto.

Jose Ramos left the game with a possible seperated shoulder. We await word.

Jose Ramos' shoulder injury isn't as bad as feared, but with the season going the way it has, we are playing it safe and he is going on the IL.

Right after losing Jose Ramos, his replacement in CF, Ken Balsdon, left the game with injury.

The Rangers beat the Blue Jays, 6-2.

This is not only the eighth loss in a row for Toronto, but it is loss #100 on the season.

Jose Martinez homered for the only Blue Jay run. It was his first as a Jay.
