Take a look at screenshot #7.

It shows Javier Baez with 17 bombs by game 35, with 37 RBI.

Fellas, this might be the version you want, if you're a Tigers fan.

It shows "J. Baez". Could be anybody. Could be 1977-78 Mariners player Jose Baez.

If Javy Baez leads the league in anything but strikeouts in May, it's worth a bug report.

Based on the face gen, I'm fairly certain that's not Jose Baez from the 70s Mariners.

Talking Detroit, I'm seeing a lot of articles that Spencer Turnbull is poised to be a breakout star this year. Hearing reports from people I know that he's been impressing everyone throughout ST, including in off-field stuff (conditioning, etc.).

Tork seems to be fairing better than last year so far on many fronts. Hopefully, that sticks.

As a whole, I'm entering this season with curiosity. I'm not upset that Harris, et al didn't make any huge moves. After last year's collapse of too many players, I'm on board with the idea of "Let's see what we've got in these young guys." I'm wondering how all the small moves and the versatility of players are going to turn out. I'm not expecting a winning season, but I'm hopeful for at least a win total in the upper 70s. But most of all, I'm glad Tigers baseball is back.

Highlight through 5 is Javy taking a walk on a 3-1 count. I assumed that he would swing at anything that didn't bounce in front of the plate and wasn't so sure about a bouncer to be honest.

Hearing stuff from friends in the game that Javier Baez is pushing back against the front office regarding a move to second base. If true, this doesn't bode well for the remaining years of the contract.
