I was somehow able to win 3 out of 7 from Orca. It may not sound like a lot but that increased my win total by 10%!

Rotten stretch for my Blue Gryphs...

22-25 since July. 17 games over .500 before that. Yikes. Trying to find a way to plug these holes that keep springing up.

Please tell me you are not trying to plug the holes on that sinking ship....that will be quite a challenge.

You are in a tough division and Breakers and Colonels are never to be underestimated.
My son is still trying to sneak in but he is a bit overmatched with his team.
His mid-20s team is not gonna scare off the 50s. He still thinks he will make it by going .500 against the top guys tomorrow and winning against the lesser teams.

If he makes it, I owe him a pitcher of his choice.....

Hmm. I think he has his eyes set on the tier 2 guys. He has been trying to save for a 93/94 Maddux. The kids keep track of their arch nemesis and he must have taken the most games from them.

Should have never taught them to use the printer. Now they have printouts and lists of their opponents and how they want to defeat them. I guess I can’t complain....two boys trying to put ‘pinky and the brain’ to shame on their mission to rule the league has been good entertainment.

Jeez, You got to win your Division, otherwise if you are lucky enough to be a Wild card team and win the Wild card game your reward will be to play Bobs Burgers. That’s like winning the lotto and having to give it to your Mother-In -Law who said when she first saw you that she hopes you are not the one dating her Daughter. 😩

Nothing is more scary then that. I love it when I play a team that has cold players but Karma hit me hard when I had 7 myself so I will never relish in that fact again. 😞

I never liked the wild Card. But this league has made it something I have to fight for every season. In the so called Whale league I would just win my Division and wait for the wild card to play me.But in this league winning the Division is not as easy as in other leagues so now I have to fight for a Wild card spot. I also hate one game series. You have to be lucky to win it and it throws your rotation off the rest of the playoffs. Now all that being said this might be the toughest road to the Wild card game yet. So many good teams are with in 4 games of each other with a whole month left. Two of them I do not like much because of past history.The fighting Saints I am always afraid of because they have been here before and know how to win a Championship and for some reason I always have trouble with the Redmond Base Stealers. The Night Watch can be beaten this season. They have the most points in players but are not the best team. You have to call them the Favorite because of their advantage in player points but I am not afraid to play them in a short series at all. I always consider I have a chance at a playoff spot because Not only do I work so hard at it I also have the advantage of time to do it. (No work in the way, Just a little life sometimes)Also having Guerrero to back me up season after season has helped me big time. I don’t give a damn on what his WAR numbers are because I watch him get the big hit for me game after game through many seasons. He is always my teams MVP. So with one month left I need him to have a month of his lifetime. I have a tough schedule ahead and so many good teams fighting for two wild card spots that my playoff streak could easily end this season. I want to win my Division because the big reward like I said if you win a wild card spot and the Wild Card game you get to go to Burger park and play Bobs Burgers. Wow , What a treat .( No thanks) This is going to be one stressful day for so many. Good luck to all. To my buddies Medici and Orcin who I have played with season after season go get that Wild Card spot that is left because it looks like Dunzie and his Blues might own the other one. I love Saturdays. 😁

Well I have to go meet a friend of mine for a couple beers at 11am but I should be back by 2pm. I don’t want to go because of the close races we have but he is in the TV business and the show has stop taping for the Holiday week so he has come out to check on his home and has to leave again this afternoon so I have no choice but to go see him. I mean I love to see him but I do need to be here and root for my team. But I still should have plenty of time when I return and being a little high won’t hurt. Good luck to everyone today.
