Pwal, I just found this thread, and I just had to log in and say these are some of the most beautiful uniforms I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing other great uniform makers on these boards as I absolutely LOVE their work too, but I had to say these really did tickle my fancy. Great job, and yes, I understand you were using another person's concepts... still it was you that did a tremendous job with those concepts.
I just can't do this stuff and I am so grateful for ALL of those who contribute here. You really have no idea how much you improve the immersion and just the overall playing experience for those of us without the ability to do this. THANK YOU ALL.

Thank you very much, OldFatGuy!
I have updated my template since I did that series, and I'm thinking about re-doing it. I've done a few jerseys with my new template and they blend in better with OOTP's MLB jerseys. However, I have lost many Photoshop files of this series, so I would have to start from scratch for many teams. We'll see... |

As an ex Senators fan, these Nationals uniforms are by far my favorite Nationals uniforms I've seen the cursive "Nationals" and "Washington" is just like the old Senators, red and white with the cursive "Senators" across the chest. I just LOVED those uniforms. (and the Senators! Man i remember some shots Frank Howard hit. They actually painted some seats at RFK where some of his Home Runs landed.)

As you know, the TEX Rangers updated their logo last year a bit by removing the black shadow and changing the outline around the lettering.
I have created a new "RANGERS" home jersey with the new style in place. For those people like me, who prefer the nickname for the home jersey and the city for the away jersey. I also updated the home ballcap by making it red.

One more set of Yankees jerseys with the name on the front, but for people who still prefer the NY on it as well.
Kind of like how the Blue Jays do their jerseys. With and without pinstripes. Personally, i prefer the one without with this kind of design.

To me, to even consider a Yankee Home Uniform without pinstripes is... blasphemy..... but man that actually looks VERY GOOD. I am actually going to use it for my league. Never thought I'd have anything but pinstripes for the Yankees. (I also prefer the pinstripes for the Mets. To me the mid 80's Mets uniforms with the pinstripes AND the orange stripe all the way up and down the sides were the best of all time Mets uniforms, and I've always found the Mets uniforms to be my favorite since I was a kid. Well, except maybe for my Senators...lol)

Love the designs, was wondering if I could get the jersey in a road grey version and just the logo from the cap.

With the recent Photobucket decision to limit 3rd party sharing, I've moved this set to my Google drive. So here's the link to get it: David Miller's MLB Combination of Eras
I'll also update the first post with this new link. |
