WTF happened to this game? I load it up and 5 minutes later I hate it. I can live with the team names being off I understand the license issue. What is up with the players not even being correct? The starting 3B for the Mets was born in 1967? The CF was born in 1980? WTF. How come there is no back stats? I guess I will have to wait until someone has roster updates.

I'm new to posting here, but I'd be glad to be the first to tell a new user to download the Lahman Database:

I'm assuming that all you have to do still is unzip that into a c:\stats directory and then start a historical league beginning in any year you'd like, and everything will be uber-accurate.

So what happens if I "pre-pay" now before the 6-hour release lag for pre-orders is up? I'd love to throw my money at you guys (as I did with OOTP5)... should I just wait til later today at this point???

Thanks in advance for what promises to be the most addictive game (for me) since SFII... (I won't even try to plug the online game I am the Art Director for)

It was going to take over an hour on several servers.

Found one in the middle that did it in 2 minutes.

I can't wait until I can download it...I'm so hyped for the game.

I bought STB, STB2k3, and OOTP 5...I never got around to buying 6, as I had a lot going on in my life and didn't have a lot of time to do anything recreational heh...but now I'm back with a vengeance! :-!

So in just a few hours we'll be downloading and playing...can't wait. I wonder if the 6 hours meant 6 hours after the original 9 AM thing or what? I'm kind of confused with all the UK/US time differences lol. I'm assuming it might have meant 6 hours after 9 AM for US. Which would be 3 PM US time, 8 PM UK time which puts it right on cue with what they said before (8 PM).
