I cant wait for these post season tourneys and all-star event. Good stuff. Gives us guys who are long out of contention something to look forward to. I cant argue with the voting...looks pretty good. Virtually everyone that I voted for is there and the couple that I didnt vote for where guys that I had considered. I think everyone voted honestly and has done a good job. Kudos guys.

The Trading Wire is now Closed.

Final week of season 3 set to begin. The 1st & 2nd place teams face-off in the East. In the West, Tomato City just has to skate by the expansion Mitt Slingers for the playoff berth. Undisputed Champions need the biggest win in UTBA history to take the North. The South looks to be a 3-team race for the playoffs.

Congrats to BigMatt on making it to the playoffs once again and to Bear for having such a great second season. Nows all that is left in the Gold Division is to find out who in the West earns the honor of getting smashed by the Beavers in the first round.

It is downright nasty here as well. Been raining ice off and on since yesterday morning, and I'm hearing we're not done yet.

Thanks Romy - and I have to second the congrats to Bear, who has put together a top notch squad.

The Beavers were pretty lucky to pull out a win today. It took several key upsets to carry the day for Bonner Springs. Eddie Cotton, Zab Judah and Bernard Taylor all collected wins against higher ranked fighters. But by far the most notable upsets are Torpedo Billy's 2 wins against markedly superior foes. The Kiwi earns MVP honors in the Beaver's final week.

That win by Taylor also put him one step closer to getting my vote for the all-star squad. If Lopez takes out Olivares, Taylor gets my vote.

It would be interesting to put together an all-overachieving team. As a 7, Taylor has regularly dispatched higher ranked foes.

My vote for skipper of the year is Bear. He has put together a remarkably talented team in short order.

LOL
He got three points for me ths season. Caveman Lee, a 4 tated guy, only got me 4 points last season. It was worth dumping caveman for cap room in another division. Given how loaded middleweight is I figured I. could live with Ko Lausse. I think Eduardo is one of the better 6's in the league, especially when you look at the division he's in.

Agreed, to take an expansion team and turn it into a contender in two seasons is a heck of an accomplishment especially when you add in that he stayed at 95 all of last year.

Agreed. Lausse is one of the better "values" in the league.

I agree, very tough for the newer team(even though every team is fairly new) to compete. I think the 4 newest teams are a fair example(look very good on paper) but when most of your guys are fighting beginning and pre-prime its very tough to compete against the Prime fighters... Kudos to bear
