Didn't know he was in demand or I would've done this long ago. He appears in both the T210 Old Mill (red borders) and T211 Red Sun (green borders) sets, the latter of which is some kind of subset of the former.

Screened them both, doing a detail on the Old Mill, which is printed a little more cleanly:

Also had no clue this was on anybody's hunted list. Took it myself, August 1978. No extra charge for the late '70s Mets' efforts at humorous strike zone illustrations.

PS: Number 22 in the background is part-time Padres coach, and Hall of Famer, Billy Herman. So Beswick didn't spend a lot of time in the bigs, but he's one degree of separation from Cooperstown.

The attached image comes from a card created by a SABR member years ago. It is somewhat larger than the BR image of Hinrichs.

This image comes from The Pioneer newspaper of Bemidji, Minnesota, dated June 18, 1913. The accompanying article reports Hageman suing the Boston Red Sox for not letting him play, yet at the same time not releasing him during the 1912 season. I'm not sure about the uniform, but the cap looks as though it could have been the Red Sox cap.

One of my personal white whales is a decent photograph of Shaw. I have no idea why I find his career interesting, but it seems to me that with the amount of games he played somebody had to have taken a baseball image of him. For what it's worth, here is the full image of the one provided in the Facepack. I can only hope Chickazoola will dig up an image of him someday as I have had no such luck.

Still combing through the Facepack, I found that Nichols had 2 possible upgrades to the image currently there. The first was posted by RUKen last year and pictures Nichols in 1901. The other is from the team composite from 1903.

The image of Brainard in the Facepack is a drawing, so here is a possible upgrade from the famous 1869 Cincinnati team.

This one is debatable as to being an upgrade, but the image I'm including does picture him in his St. Louis Browns uniform with a little more clarity.
