Let's see what the Florida teams currently look like, or the weakest MLB teams closest to Memphis, whatever teams they might be, just as long as they don't have any players on the Freemans' side of things here. That's if we want to perhaps have Bradley Parverol start off in MLB instead of the IPA, please, of course, and we then can decide where to perhaps have him start his playing career off at in 1903. Okay, jg2977? CD out.

AL Semifinals - Game 5
Baltimore Orioles: ALCS appearances - 2 1901 1902 With the Red Sox' loss, both top seeds in the MLB have quickly been bounced from the postseason. Atlanta and Boston had just one win between them. |

Tampa was 70-92, and Florida was 58-104, so the Marlins will get him. Last edited by jg2977; 11-21-2022 at 09:32 AM. |

I'm not adding anyone else to the IPA. I want to let all the superhuman players retire, that way everything will reset with that league.
Dog Paulson, who started on Hillsboro, actually signed with the Boston Red Sox in the 1901-1902 offseason. He led the Red Sox to the best record in the AL, and had a tremendous playoff series. But in reality the Sox were only successful because of him. He didn't have much support around him in the playoff series against the Orioles, and Boston fell in 5 games. |

Yes, you don't really have anyone close to Memphis except perhaps St. Louis at present, which by our required criteria isn't available here for him as a potential starting team. And Atlanta is too far away from Memphis here, probably, so they're not available here, either. His son Tiamghan will ultimately be born in Pensacola, Florida, in 1908, it seems, so probably a Florida team would be best for him to start his career off with here, in that case, then.
As for adding any more created/planned players to the IPA in the future, if we ever do so again, we'll just have to make sure any future players we might decide to add to it have more realistic ratings, I think, than we likely had added to it before. When I proposed each of the players I proposed earlier for its first generation, I tried to propose them with more realistic ratings from the start, I believe. Whether they were pitchers or hitters or two-way players. However, you generally prefer more offense in your saves, which I don't really mind too much, for obvious reasons, so you probably boosted several of the values I proposed for certain players in certain areas of their profile accordingly. Nothing wrong with that, of course, for it is still your game to run as you see fit, and it was your game to run as you saw fit when you restarted the dynasty over again as you did, you know. I think no matter what league we may put any or all of our future created/planned characters in, to start their respective playing careers, if we then try to keep the starting values for certain ratings as realistic as possible and all, we'll see much more realistic statistical results for many categories for your game in the future, for a rather long period of time. Now that you have just over 31 years of statistical history to look back on, in-game, and about five times that in real-life baseball history, and all, you probably have a much better idea of what might be more realistic for your current dynasty here than you did when you started this version of the IPA, I think. These are just my current thoughts and observations here, from following this present version of your IPA dynasty here, mind you. Please feel free to take them as you like and all, but also please try to remember to have as much fun as you can and all here, if at all possible and all, of course, jg2977. Thanks again for letting my players play in this version of your IPA and now MLB-related dynasty here, in any case. I hope to see some cards and all for all the relevant still-active players, and team-related reports for the appropriate teams soon, if they've not already been posted recently enough, as well. Especially if Bradley is likely going to start in 1903 and all, of course. Otis Garber was born in 1885 in Amarillo, Texas, so perhaps one of the Texas teams might be appropriate for him, if and when he actually starts out in MLB instead of the IPA with Kenwood, for instance. Hugh Clairborne is from San Francisco, California, born in 1888, but you already have Jerry Holmes there, I believe, so he'll likely have to start elsewhere. His son Ralph will be born in Tucumcari, New Mexico in 1911, so maybe if he plays for Arizona, for instance, that might work for him, I think. The third-generation Holmes players descended from Jedediah Holmes directly through Jeremiah (Jerry) Holmes will all be born in Birmingham, Alabama, for sure, between 1906 and 1922, just so you know. While Sikander Garber, son of Otis, will be born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1907, as well, jg2977. CD out.

Duncan Freeman will most likely be starting in 1904, in the same season that Otis Garber does. While Elijah Freeman is currently scheduled to start in 1906, as is Enoch Morse, Zebulon's oldest son, if I'm not too mistaken here, in truth. Hugh Clairborne and Enoch's cousin Abel Morse are both slated for potential 1907 starts, and that'd then kick off a short gap of time until Noah Morse's likely debut year of 1912.
Two more Morses are currently planned for possibly starting their careers in 1913, one in 1918, and one in 1919, with their respective cousin Talbot Tulach then likely finishing things off on the Freemans' side of things with a potential debut year of 1920. As for their potential rivals, after Hugh, I'll probably let you handle that part of things here, if and when you like and can, in any case. Just so you know this here well enough, of course, jg2977. CD out.
