Like Mattingly or whoever is gonna lay out his entire bullpen plan for you live on national TV...

By my rusty mathematical skills, you originally stated "HATE IT" a total of 63 times. I added three more to make it 66.

Now, if you truly hate the idea of micing (what a terrible word; the computer hates it, awarding a red squiggly line to it; it wants mixing, icing, mincing, macing, or mining instead; I think of mousing) athletes in the field, you will take that block of "HATE IT!"s and reproduce it nine more times in a follow-up post.

For then, you will have 666 iterations, the sign of the devil. A true hex upon the practice, I would say. Also likely to get us both in the doghouse here for gratuitously taking up forum space, so don't do it.

Everyone is aware about how bad the Colorado Rockies have been so far. Not so fun facts:

- The White Sox are 7-21 .250 and are NOT the worst team in the league.

- The White Sox are currently projected to match the same pitiful record of last year, 41-121.

- However, the Rockies are even worse! They are now 4-24 .143 which projects to a jaw-dropping 24-138.

- They have trailed in 26 of 28 games which means in 2 games, at least, they managed to rally, come from behind, and win.

Not that I expect this to happen (but I didn't think the ChiSox would end up as bad as they did, either), but if Colorado does go 24-138, they will not only break the 1916 Athletics' mark for worst winning percentage, post-1900, but the 1899 Cleveland Spiders' mark for most losses (134).
