2026 - Report #3
We are now 5 games into the 2026 season and there are a decent number of teams that are 5-0 to start the season. Player of the week awards have been announced.
The Chicago White Sox have come out on fire at 5-0 and their star Trea Turner walks away with the AL Player of the week award. Turner hit 3 homers and drove in 14 runs in the first 5 games while hitting 13 for 23 to start the year. White Sox sit alone atop the AL Central with that 5-0 record. Larry Walker of the New Orleans Zebras comes home with top honors in the National League. Walker hit 4 homers and drove in 8 runs while batting .500. New Orleans is one of many teams at 4-1 in first place in the NL Midwest. The Philadelphia Phillies embarrassed the neighboring Scranton Owls 20-3 on the road today at Dunder Mifflin Stadium. The same was no ordinary game as Don Mattingly hit his 300th career homer in the 5th inning off of Luis Mendoza. This was a crazy game in that superstar catcher Deacon McGuire drove in 10 runs in the game with 3 homers. McGuire who was first player to hit over .400 in 2025 did not want to overshadow Donnie Baseball "The ball was a medicine ball for sure today, the Scranton pitching is scarce glad I can have a big day but Donnie has been eyeing that 300th homer for ever and he has had a great career. Gary Carter was on the sidelines but was shocked when he got an offer for 9.8 million to play for the Rochester Surge. The Kid has signed on the dotted line and looks forward to playing in Western New York. Carter had played the last 2 years for the Colorado Rockies and at 29 years old already seemed washed up. Rochester likes if anything his star power. The surprise of baseball early on is that the expansion Vermont Black Bears are 5-0. One of the veterans on that club is Howie Shanks who won a championship ring with the 2022 Detroit Tigers. Shanks is 37 years old and said he is quitting after this season. He his 108 homers over six seasons with Tigers before playing for the Lubbock Brigands in 2025. Shanks said he has lost passion for the game. |

2026 - Report #4
We have had a few solid individual performances over the past few days
Dr Ross Geller of the Detroit Tigers hits for the cycle in a 17-6 beating of the Saskatoon Beavers in Saskatchewan. Geller went 5 for 5 in the game and drove in 5 runs to carry the Tigers to victory. Mario Guerrero added 3 hits while Rogers Hornsby drove in 3 runs in the beating. Detroit is off to a so-so start at 4-4. Bill Gullickson got his first Detroit win after many years with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The New Orleans Zebras mauled the Savannah Thunder by the score of 22-0 today at the Superdome as Sid Hudson continued his great start to the 2026 season by allowing just one hit. Brandon Inge was the only Savannah player to get a hit off Hudson who improved to 2-0 on the season. Ken Griffey Jr had 4 hits and 6 RBI's while George Cutshaw drove in another 5 as New Orleans was in complete command. New Orleans looks good with their 6-2 start and they have a tie for second place in the NL Midwest trailing the Memphis Cougars by a game. There was no offense against Joe Blong and the Atlantic City Sharks today as Blong fanned 16 batters in 7 innings to carry the Sharks to a 7-0 win at home against the Oslo Walruses. Blong is 2-0 on the season and continues to pick up from his strong rookie campaign. Jim McCormick and Omar Moreno each had 2 hits and 3 RBI's on the day to account for the offense. Atlantic City is 7-1 2nd place in the NL East trailing the undefeated Brooklyn Brawlers by one full game. Last big game was for Yonder Alonso of the Foxwoods Colonials. Alonso goes 6-6 with 4 homers and 9 RBI's in a one sided home victory over the Fire Island Rogues. Foxwoods won the game 28-5. Alonso has 5 homer now on the season. Vern Bickford did not pitch great but he got the win. King Kelly had 5 hits and 7 RBI's while Mike Simms had 3 hits and 5 RBI's for the Colonials. Foxwoods is 6-2 in 3rd place in the AL East trailing the undefeated Buffalo Bisons by 2 games. |

2026 - Report #5
The Buffalo Bisons are the talk of the league as they are one of 3 teams that are 10-0 along with the Baltimore Orioles and Honolulu Riptide. Buffalo has been getting some stronger performances out of some of their unusual draft picks.
Anthony Weiner the sex offender and politician tosses the first no hitter by anyone in the 2026 season as the Buffalo Bisons punish the Berlin Cannons 11-0 today. Weiner would have been perfect but John Radcliff and Pat Listach committed errors in the game. In the game Weiner fanned 10 batters without walking anyone. Pete Hotaling, Geraldo Rivera and Francisco Cabrera each had 3 RBI's in the game. For the Buffalo Bisons it was the 2nd no hitter in their history as they David "Pasta" Pastrnak tossed on against the Utah Saints back in 2019. For Berlin Cannons it was the first time the German time was no hit, but then again it was only their 10th game in their history The day before, Buffalo ravaged the Rio Astronauts 20-4 in Rio De Janeiro as Buffalo star outfielder and talk show host Geraldo Rivera went 6 for 6 and drove in a run. Ed Scott was strong for 5 2/3 innings and Buffalo crushed the expansion team. Jay Clarke had 3 hits and 4 RBI's while Pat Listach had 4 hits and 3 RBI's in the bloodbath Ross Barnes of the Little Rock Sunbirds hit for the cycle in a game as they defeated the Key West Condors at home 12-4. Barnes goes 4 for 5 in the game with 3 RBI's as Bob Welch fanned 10 batters over 5 innings to get the win. Basketballer Eric Gordon added 2 hits and 3 RBI's in the game. Little Rock is 6-4 on the season as they try to break out this year. The Paris Swingers got a 6 hit game from 2nd year player Gail Hopkins as they defeated the Glasgow Barons on the road at Sean Connery Park. Hopkins goes 6-6 in the 12-1 win and homers while driving in 4 runs. Paris also got 3 hits and 3 RBI's from Harlond Clift as they improved to a solid 6-3 start on the season. |

2026 - Report #6
And just like that a 2nd no hitter has been thrown as CC Sabathia and the Kingston Sea Lions defeated the Fire Island Rogues on the road at Robert Moses Ball Field 6-0. Sabathia fanned 9 and walked 3 in this game with no crowd as the only access to this stadium is by ferry. Kingston was lead offensively by Joe Charboneau's three run homer and Jack Warner's 2 hits. Sabathia improves to 3-0 on the young season. It was the first no hitter in Kingston Sea Lions history and the first time the new Fire Island Rogues were victimized. Sabathia was jubilant after the game "It was a no crowd, no pressure game. I wish I could have done it in Jamaica with our wild rastaferian crowd, but it is cool either way... and I really hate being mentioned in the same sentences as Anthony Weiner just because we threw no hitters on back to back days"
The Toronto Blue Jays triumphed over the Houston Astros 1-0 on the road at Minute Maid Park as superstar Christy Mathewson hurled a 1 hit shutout. Mathewson pitched 8 innings and fanned 15 batters to improve to 3-0 with Bill Mooneyham pitching the 9th for the save. Mike Menosky had the lone Houston hit in the game. Toronto's offense came on a solo homer by Bobby Estallella. It was bad news for the Dublin Outlaws as they lost one of their key pitchers in Marvin Freeman for the season. Freeman tore his UCL in a 12-0 loss on the road to the Cabo San Lucas Black Gold. Freeman left the game in the 4th inning and was shut down for the season. Ed Correa has been impressive for the Santa Barbara Dolphins but now is gone for the season with a torn rotator cuff. Correa won 10 games in 2025 and was 1-0 with a 1.08 ERA thus far in 2026. Correa got hurt in an 11-0 road route of the Shreveport Sting. Correa felt pain in the 3rd inning and was pulled from the game and later on, Santa Barbara knew that he was shot for 2026. The Ottawa Argonauts also suffered a major pitching injury as Omar Daal was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff as well. Daal was brought into be a bullpen workhorse after a successfull 492 appearances over the years for the Anchorage Bears. Daal got hurt in a 7-6 extra inning loss to the Austin Donkeys at Dell Computer Stadium after throwing 14 pitches Last injury of note did not happen on the field. Damian Jackson of the Staten Island Blue Jackets is lost for 9 weeks with a broken wrist. Jackson was washing his truck and fell off of it while washing it. Staten Island signed Jackson for 1.1 Million per season after many years with the Toronto Blue Jays, so they were furious that he was doing his own truck washing. |

Some things happening at the 15 game mark of the season
In a huge blockbuster trade today the Utah Saints desperately trying to get starting pitching sent OF Jimmy Wynn to the Columbus Barracudas for a package of interesting players. Dwight Schrute, Al Hrabosky, Tony Boeckel, Dizzy Dean and Frank Riccelli are all heading to Salt Lake. Columbus adds a very cantankerous player in Schrute who is 71-72 over his career with no more than 11 wins in any season. One wonders how a deranged Amish guy can function in Ladder Day saint area. Utah also lands the Mad Hungarian in Hrabosky who has amassed 71 saves in his time with Columbus. Wynn is a power hitter that could never get a regular spot in the Utah lineup and with 113 career homers and 213 career swipes. The Glasgow Barons lost their starting catcher Tomas Telis for the season with a ruptured achilles tendon. Telis suffered the injury on the road at Winnipeg in a 6-4 lost to the Wolf Pack. Al Spohrer will be the everyday catcher now for Glasgow. Mike Kreevich has endured in the league because of expansion and today at 38 years old announced he will retire at the end of the season for the Monte Carlo Blazers. Kreevich has 104 career homers for 9 different teams. Jack Smith was named National League Player of the week for the Tulsa Rattlers. Smith hit 6 homers and drove in 16 runs while batting .520 for Tulsa. Tulsa is in 3rd place in the NL Midwest trailing the Memphis Cougars and New Orleans Zebras by one game American League awarded player of the week to Yonder Alonso of the Foxwoods Colonials. Alonso went 15 for 27 with 6 homers and 15 RBI's. Foxwoods is in 2nd place in the NL East trailing the first place Buffalo Bisons by 2 games. |

A day of injuries, retirements and suspensions
Like real life, Frank Tanana is an injury prone guy. The 19 year old starting pitcher will be out 2 months for the Rio Astronauts with a herniated disc. The rookie was 1-2 with a 2.38 ERA for expansion Rio. The loss occurred in a 4-3 extra inning loss to the Staten Island Blue Jackets at Wu Tang Field. Tanana fanned 9 guys over 5 innings before his back hurt. Rio is 2-13 to star the season and will ask Joe Borden to take his place in the rotation. UFC fighter and Sarasota Typhoon third baseman Conor McGregor want ballistic arguing a 3rd strike call in game which Sarasota rallied to beat the San Bernardino Butchers 8-5 at home. McGregor had to be restrained by both bench coach Jon Duvall and hitting coach David Padkin as they were afraid that McGregor was going to punch the umpire. McGregor got suspended for 4 games. The Wichita Hawkeyes were dealt a very serious blow learning that their starting pitcher and wife swapper Fritz Peterson is out for the season. Peterson tore his rotator cuff in a 9-2 loss on the road against the Tijuana Pelicans. Peterson was not happy about spending the night in a Tijuana hospital. Peterson has 26 wins over the past 2 seasons for Wichita and they will have to replace him in the rotation with recently acquired Frank Seminara. Scott Downs is down for 5 months with shoulder inflammation for the Morgantown Cottonmouths. Downs was a regular starter for Morgantown in 2025 but has been out of the pen and overworking in 2026. The injury occurred at home as the New York Mets crushed Morgantown 10-3. Lastly, veteran third baseman Gary Gaetti now playing for the Scranton Owls has announced he will retire at the end of the year. Gaetti is 39 years old and played 7 years for the Cleveland Indians before signing with Scranton this year. He hit 202 homers for Cleveland and was a mainstay on some successful teams. He has been 0 for 6 for Scranton and just does not like the game any more |

2026 - Report #9
The San Antonio River Kings continue to be the American League offensive juggernaut in 2026 and today they blasted the Yukon Drillers 33-3 at home. The game was highlighted by a 6 hit performance by Jose Peraza who went 6 for 8 and drove in 4 runs. Mel Hall hit 2 homers and drove in 6 runs while Troy Glaus, Dave Clark and Wilmer Difo had 4 RBI's as well. Yukon had a 4 for 4 game with 2 homers out of Nelson Simmons which accounted for 4 of the team's 6 hits and all their RBI's
American League player of the week goes to Emil Batch of the Providence Chargers who hit 4 homers and drove in 16 runs while going 15 for 24. Batch is off to a .394 start as the usually futile Providence team is still bad at 6-12. The Sacramento Bees are off to a 16-2 start and are tied for first in the NL Pacific with the Honolulu Riptide and their star player George Wright just won NL Player of the Week. Wright hit 17 for 30 for the week with 4 homers and 11 RBI's and is hitting a stellar .492 for the season Daisy Davis improved to 3-0 today with a 15 strikeout performance as the red hot Tucson Tomahawks edged the Berlin Cannons 5-4 at home. Davis fanned 15 over 7 innings and Billy Koch came on for the save as Tuscon is 13-4 on the year and trail the first place Calgary Fusion by one game in the AL West. |

2026 - Report #10
It has been a quiet few days in the majors.
Christy Mathewson was nothing but quiet as he struck out 18 batters in a game as the Toronto Blue Jays downed the Fire Island Rogues 10-4 at home. Mathewson pitched 7 1/3 innings for the 18 K performance and is now 5-0 on the season. Bobby Estallella and Hod Ford drove in 3 runs each for the offensive part of the game. Jim Field did homer off of Mathewson in the game for Fire Island. The Indianapolis Bulldogs lost a 4-2 battle on the road to the Calgary Fusion at the Saddledome but it was a historic game for Joe Adcock. The Indy slugger slammed his 300th career homer in the game off of Jimmy Anderson. Anderson had the last laugh as he got the win for the AL West leading Calgary squad. Adcock has collected his 300 homers with Indianapolis, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates. |

Adam LaRoche continues to be no fluke in 2026 as he wins the AL Player of the Week award. He hit 9 homers and drove in 19 runs while going 12 for 28 for the AL West leading San Antonio River Kings. LaRoche has 15 homers on the year. San Antonio is tied for first in the West with the Calgary Fusion
National League honors went to Sarasota Typhoon catcher Yosmil Pinto. Pinto went 8 for 10 this week with 3 homers and 9 RBI's and has a .432 average on the season. Sarasota is 10-14 and struggling in the NL Atlantic. Derrel Thomas extended his hitting streak to 25 games for the Duluth Champions as Duluth beat the Wichita Hawkeyes 5-4. Thomas is hitting .379 this year for Duluth and Duluth is showing signs of improvement at 12-12 in the NL Midwest. The San Antonio River Kings did announce today that Brian Giles will retire at the end of the year. The 39 year old outfielder has 163 career homers and played many years for the Cincinnati Reds where he won a world title in 2024. Also in retirement news Aubrey Huff of the Winnipeg Wolf Pack will retired at the end of the year at 36 years old. Huff has 187 career homers and has played for too many teams but his best year was in 2019 with the Minnesota Twins with 97 RBI's. |

2026 - Report #12
The third no hitter of the 2026 season has been thrown as Harry Howell of the Wichita Hawkeyes accomplished that feat in a 10-0 win at home against the Rome Thoroughbreds. Howell fanned 14 batters in the game and improved to 5-0 on the season. His only blemish was walking Jose Rodriguez. Rico Carty had 3 hits and 4 RBI's inlcuding his 11th homer of the season. It was first no hitter in the history of the Wichita Hawkeyes who are 20-7 and tied for first with Memphis Cougars in the NL Midwest. It was also the first time the Rome Thoroughbreds were no hit in their two year history.
The Tulsa Rattlers triumphed over the Kimberley Ocelots 5-0 today at home as Stubby Overmire fired a 1 hit shutout. Overmire improves to 2-2 on the season as he fanned 4 batters and allowed only a single to Buddy Ryan. Tulsa is 19-8 and tied for 3rd place in the NL Midwest It was a milestone day for Tony Perez and the Baltimore Orioles today as the slugger launched his 300th homer of his career. The Orioles defeated the Maine Attack 5-3 at home today as Perez hit the big homer off of Ted Lewis in the 8th inning to give Baltimore a big insurance run. Perez has hit his 300 homers for both Baltimore and the Arizona Diamondbacks. |

A Busy week with some great games.
Titanic survivor Jack Dawson has been playing well as he collected 6 hits and drove in 8 runs in a game where the Paris Swingers defeated the Baghdad Sultans 30-9. Dawson has 37 RBI's in 30 games, and the game also feature Johnny Dickshot getting 5 hits. Paris has a 15-15 record as they are much improved over 2025. Noah Solloway has stayed a while in the league due to constant expansion but he picked up 5 hits today for the Amsterdam Smokies in their 13-1 trashing of the Charlotte Spiders at home. Solloway had 5 hits and 2 RBI's while Buddy Hield drive in 4 runs in the one sided win. Dallas Keuchel improved to 4-2 with 6 solid innings allowing just 1 run and 5 hits. The Montreal Anchors triumphed 6-2 on the road at Newton-John stadium over the Melbourne Caribou as Corey Dickerson hit for the cycle for Montreal in the win. Dickerson went 4-5 and drove in 4 runs to account for most of the offense in the game. Gene Oliver had 3 hits and an RBI as well. Matt Harvey is off to a great start for Montreal with a 4-1 record as he tossed 6 2/3 innings and allowed just 1 hit. Emil Gross became very rich today as he was extended 4 years for 122 million dollars by the Chicago White Sox. Gross who won a ring back in 2019 with the Washington Nationals has seen a career resurgence since coming to his hometown team as he is from Chicago. Last year Gross hit 37 homers drove in 107 runs and is trying to get the White Sox over the hump The Scranton Owls will be without the services of Mike Lynch for 5 months as he suffered a fractured elbow in a 7-1 home loss to the Redding Missions. Scranton has recalled Tyler Glasnow to take Lynch's spot in the rotation. Lynch was 1-0 in 4 starts with a 1.06 ERA, this is a tough loss for Scranton who are 9-21 on the season. Derrell Thomas saw his hitting streak snapped at 28 games today for the Duluth Champions. Duluth still won the game 6-3 over the Atlanta Braves at home. Jimmy Anderson pitched 2 games for the Calgary Fusion and found out he has a stretched elbow ligament and will be out for the season. The loss occurred in a rare 3-1 home loss to the Nassau Stingrays. Anderson gave up Joe Adcock's 300th homer in his previous start. |

The league is at the 31 game point in the season and there have been more frequent unique events
Jonah Simms the Cloud Nine underachieving retail clerk, won the AL Player of the Week award this week for the Portland Lions. Simms hit 5 homers and drove in 14 runs while going 13 for 29. Portland is 19-12 and 6 games behind the surprising Anchorage Bears in the AL Pacific. In the National League, top honors for the week goes to legendary Bobby Thomson of the New York Mets. Thomson went 13 for 24 this week and hit 3 homers while driving in 13 runs. The Mets are off to a great start at 24-6 but are in 2nd place in the NL East trailing the first place Brooklyn Brawlers by 1 1/2 games. Steve Ontiveros in his 8th year with the Cincinnati Reds and today he hit for the cycle in a 17-1 beating of the Sarasota Typhoon in Florida. Ontiveros drove in 7 runs in the game as the Reds also got 2 hits and 5 RBI's from Dino Restalli. Roy Oswalt improved to 3-1 with 7 1/3 innings of 1 run baseball. The Los Angeles Dodgers spanked the Scranton Owls on the road at Dunder Mifflin Stadium as Rube Kisinger hurled a 1 hit shutout. Kisinger improved to 2-0 on the season with 3 strikeouts in the 1 hitter. The only Scranton hit was by rookie Lourdes Gurriel. The Dodgers got their offense from Johnny Peralta with 4 hits and 3 RBI's. It was a big day for veteran Harmon Killebrew of the Barcelona Magicians as he slugged his 300th career homer today in a 7-4 home loss to the Columbus Barracudas. Killebrew hit the milestone homer off of Columbus reliever and Long Islander John Frascatore. Killebrew was not offered a contract with the Minnesota Twins where he played for 7 years so he took the chance to play in Europe. |

2026 - Report #15
There are the last happenings in the 2026 MLB season
The Utah Saints made a trade to acquire first baseman Ron Jackson from the Mexico City Salukis and trading back SP Matt Moore and infielder Jordan Pacheco. Utah also acquires former Mexico City 2nd round pick in reliever James Burke. Jackson has hit 231 career homers. Utah also dealt relief pitcher and actor Danny Glover to the El Paso Grizzlies getting Derrell Griffith in return. Glover was in his 2nd year and struggling for Utah after having played 6 years for the New Orleans Zebras. Mexico City Salukis on top of trading away their top power hitter also found out that Kyle Seager will be out for the season with a fractured knee. The injured occured in a 5-3 loss at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox. Seager had thrived in Mexico City and has had three straight 40 homer seasons after being unceremoniously traded away by the San Diego Padres. Paper salesman Jim Halpert had a big 5 hit game today as the AL Pacific leading Anchorage Bears outscored the Kingston Sea Lions at home 12-7. Halpert drove in 2 runs and his hitting .333 on the season. Fans were worried when his wife Pam told the media that they wanted out of Alaska but Halpert has put those hard feelings aside as there has been a turnaround in Anchorage in 2026. The day earlier Orlando Hudson hit for the cycle for the Kingston Sea Lines on the road against the Anchorage Bears as Sarah Palin Park. Although Hudson accomplished that and drove in 2 runs, Kingston fell short to Anchorage 16-10, Richie Zisk had 3 hits and 4 RBI's Ralph Kiner will be out 5 weeks with an elbow strain for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He got injured in a 5-3 road loss to the Little Rock Sunbirds at Levon Helm Field. |

A busy week with some brawls and other things
American League Player of the Week goes to rookie Ed Swartwood of the Albany Warcats. Swartwood hit .500 with 4 homers and 10 RBI's as Albany is 22-19 on the season and 8 games back of the New York Yankees in the AL East The top player in the National League is Aramis Ramirez of the San Bernardino Butcher. Ramirez had a huge week with 8 homer and 18 RBI's while batting .500. At 21, it seems Ramirez is breaking out in his 3rd major league season and San Bernardino is 28-14 on the season and in 2nd place in the AL Pacific trailing the first place Sacramento Bees by 4 games. The Albuquerque Blackbirds defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 6-1 today at home in a game that was marred by a bench clearing brawl as Phillies reliever and Maple Leaf center John Tavares hit John Titus with a pitch in the 8th inning of the game. Tavares came in relief for Doug Brocail who had surrendered a three run homer to Melvin Upton. JT was not happy with the celebration and beaned Titus and the benches cleared. Tavares and Titus was suspended 2 games each Winnipeg Wolf Pack rookie first baseman and Suns center DeAndre Ayton slugged 3 solo homers at home in a 6-3 win over the Moscow Battalion. Ayton has hit 16 homers already this season but has only driven in 22 runs. Justin Deamer added 2 hits and an RBI in the win. John Olerud hit for the cycle today as the Albuquerque Blackbirds outlasted the Philadelphia Phillies 22-12 in a home game. Olerud went 5 for 7 and drove in 4 runs in the victory. Many are shocked about the cycle since Olerud is super slow and got a triple. Larry Doyle drove in 5 runs while Melvin Upton had 4 hits in this high scoring affair. The San Bernardino Butchers are trying to chase the Sacramento Bees for first place in the AL Pacific and learned their star catcher Mickey Cochrane will be out 6 weeks with a hamstring strain. The loss occurred in a 16-0 blowout win over the Oslo Walruses at home. Cochrane hit 36 homers in his rookie season but has been suffering a bit from the sophomore jinx in 2026. |

2026 - Report #18
Today was a deGromination day as the Richmond Gamecocks right hander Jacob deGrom throws a no hitter. Richmond defeats the Barcelona Magicians at home 12-0 as deGrom fans 13 batters and improves to 7-2 on the season. It was the 3rd no-hitter in Richmond history with Lefty Grove throwing the 2 previous ones both against the Lubbock Brigands. It was the first time Barcelona has been held hitless. Richmond got 3 hits and 3 RBI's from Harvey Hendrick including his 14th homer of the year. Willians Astudillo contribued 3 hits as well. Richmond is 37-10 and in first place in the NL Atlantic with a 2 game lead over the San Juan Storm.
John Kerins had a big 4 homer day today for the Ottawa Argonauts as they destroyed the Allentown Chiefs on the road at Rodale Park. Kerins doubled his home run count in this game to 8 and drove in 5 runs. Emil Brown added 2 hits and 4 RBI's for Ottawa including his 7th homer of the year. Ottawa is now 25-22 on the season. It was a big day for Cy Seymour as he swatted his 300th career homer today for the Washington Nationals. The Nationals defeated the Jones Beach Jets on the road at Robert Moses Park 7-2. Seymour hit a 3 run blast off of Jones Beach starter Jeremy Bonderman in the 4th inning of the game. Seymour has hit most of his homers for the Nationals, he did play one year for the Kansas City Royals. Not to be dwarfed by Milwaukee Brewers starter Henry Boyle fired a 1 hit shutout today at home against the Nashua Fire Dogs. Boyle fanned 10 batters and improved to 6-3 and did not walk a single batter. The lone Nashua hit was by veteran Jim Presley. |

2026 - Report #19
We have hit the 50 game mark and activity is picking up in the 2026 season..
Dave Clark of the San Antonio River Kings was named AL Player of the Week. Clark hit .500 this week with 5 homers and 14 RBI's for San Antonio who are 33-17 and tied for 4th place in the AL West with the Saskatoon Beavers trailing the first place Texas Rangers by 3 games. National League top honors went to Don Mattingly of the Philadelphia Phillies who went 14 for 25 with 5 homers and 12 RBI's The Phillies are 36-14 and hold a tight 2 game lead over the Orlando Alliance in the NL Central. The Boss was in charge today as he pitches a 4 hit shutout in the Cheyenne Black Aces 5-0 road win over the Vermont Black Bears at Ben & Jerry Stadium. Bruce Springsteen fanned 7 and walked 1 to improve to 4-4 on the season. Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez had 4 hits including his 6th homer of the season as Cheyenne improved to 23-27. The Wall Street Black Cats found out today they lost rookie pitcher Steven Matz for the season with a torn rotator cuff. Matz was 4-1 on the year and suffered the injury after completing the save at home in a 5-2 win over the Cabo San Lucas Black Gold. Jesse Burkett of the Arizona Diamondbacks extended his hitting streak to 25 games today and his batting average to a torrid .392 as the Diamondbacks defeated the NL Pacific leading Sacramento Bees 7-4 at home. Arizona is 37-13 and just trail the MLB Defending champion Las Vegas Snake Eyes by one game in the NL West. The Charleston Cheetahs made a trade with the Dublin Outlaws to acquired dependable reliever Colten Brewer and minor league 1B Christian Walker. Charleston sends to Ireland, minor leaguers Jay Powell and Dick Estelle. Mike Smith is a pitching stud and plays DH for the Minnesota Twins. Today he lashed out 6 hits in a game as the Twins defeated the Boston Red Sox 5-4 in 12 innings. Minnesota had 20 hits on the day as Smith goes 6 for 7 with 3 RBI's. Smith plated home Jimmy Williams in the 12th in walk off fashion. The Melbourne Caribou lost a key starting pitcher in Willis Hudlin for the season with a torn UCL suffered in a 3-2 home game loss in 10 innings to the Tulsa Rattlers. Hudlin was 12-13 in 2025 in his rookie season. Hal Reniff has been moved from the bullpen to the rotation to take Hudlin's spot. Also lost for the season is Oakland Athletics relief pitcher Nellie King. King also has a torn UCL and could explain his terrible year so far after 38 saves in 2025. The injury occurred in a game where Oakland defeated the Nassau Stingrays at home 9-4. |

2020 - Report #20
Another No-hitter has been thrown this time it was Billings Beacons rookie Al Pratt as Billings defeated the Aruba Jackrabbits at home 5-0. Pratt fanned 10 and walked 3 in the game This was the fifth no hitter thrown in 2026 but first in Billings Beacons history. Aruba now has been no hit on 3 occasions. In 2024, Don Drysdale of the Arizona Diamondbacks held them in check and later that year, Joey Hamilton of the Orlando Alliance actually had a perfect game against them. Kurt Stillwell hit his 4th homer of the year and drove in 3 runs to account for most of Billings' offense.
The fists came out today in a game where the Caracas Toros defeated the Vermont Black Bears 5-4 at home. Chris Redd too exception to a pitch thrown by Mike Wegener and all hell broke loos. The SNL cast member got a 4 game suspension while Wegener got 6 games. Caracas improved to 33-20 in 2026 as Jim Greengrass hit a 2 run shot, his 9th of the year and Johnny Allen pitched 7 2/3 innings of shutout ball and struck out 11 batters. Frank Chance of the Evansville Steelhawks has decided to retire at the end of the year at 38 years old. Chance had 246 homers most of which were hit with the Atlanta Braves including a 145 RBI season in 2021. Chance only had 4 homers so far this year and the power seems to be gone. |
