Probably not much time at all, actually, if I can find a few spare moments or so here and there. I'm kind of stuck on my main/latest story at the moment, so maybe this sort of thing might help me break the creative logjam I'm having with it somehow, I think, Lord willing. Besides, I want to do a bit more experimenting with them, I think, for various reasons and all, if I can here, even if it's only for a certain fictional place in at least one of my various fictional nations, if not more than one such place in it or them.

Also, I am working hard on things for koohead, and others, as well, at the current time. I still haven't heard back from kq76 lately regarding the Electrics, but hopefully he'll check in soon, if possible. I'm probably going to do some playing around with Electrics-related ideas and colors for at least my own potential or actual leagues, every once in a while, whether or not he does anytime soon, anyway. BNN seems to like my items made for his Nassau team, but hasn't yet gotten back to me to a great degree on them, to be sure.

Feel free to use what you wish, or not, of my latest work, whether it's for the Valiants or not, in any case, please, Eugene. I'm sure others will use at least some of it, if not all of it, for their own leagues and all, Lord willing and all, to be completely honest with you here.

I think some of the Arizona teams might possibly work for you, even if they're not your usual cup of tea or RC Cola, so to speak, as of yet. Or at least a number of the fonts used on them, that is, of course. I've been doing a lot of searching for good and usable enough fonts to use with my items, in any case, quite often, in truth. Whether script-style fonts or not, as you may or may not have recently seen, I've generally tried to make every team at least a bit different from each other, in terms of colors and styles and fonts used for them, after all.

Here are some just-made non-mesh alternate versions for the Avalon Valiants uniforms for anyone who might want them, including Eugene, for possible items to use in their various leagues and all. Non-mesh alternate versions of the related caps will be in the next post. That is all. CD out.

It didn't take more than a couple of moments to simply change the texture on each of the available uniforms and caps for the Valiants from mesh to cotton, actually. Probably only about five or so minutes, more or less, at the most, I think, folks.

While I'm waiting to see if someone will do logos for the proposed Arizona-based teams I'm working on for koohead's prospective baseball league, I'll then ask you all what you think of certain team nicknames I might choose to use for the bonus teams I've not yet done items in relation to, folks. The nicknames I'm currently considering for possible use, besides the one I've most likely settled on, but not yet revealed, are:

Paddlers
Rafters
Wildfires
Reds
Wrens
Blues
Buzzards
Thespians
Ranchers
Rock Hounds
Fiddlers
Racers
Monsoons
Mall Rats

If you want, you can each certainly also speculate, and try to guess where I may actually be thinking of putting these various bonus teams, as well. And if you want to perhaps suggest more potential team nicknames to consider, then please feel free to do so, if and when you like and can, folks. I will give you a hint, however, on the prospective bonus team that I've already started work on, at least, if not actually completed the possible work on yet, to the best of my current ability. The location's name starts with a C, and the nickname starts with an A, for that prospective bonus team.

EC, what teams did you delete from your recreational leagues? Just wondering, that's all. No, I don't think your choice of Oldtimers for the Avalon team was a mistake, either. But it's your league and team in question, of course, to do with as you will and all, for sure.

In my humble opinion here, all the new logos for your newly-renamed leagues that you just posted are not too bad here, in truth, either. But maybe if they had non-circular and/or non-square versions available, they might perhaps be even better than they already are now, I think. As for the Avalon Valiants-related items, the ones I made aren't too bad, either, I think, but if you think you can actually get better-quality items and all for that team than what I made for potential use by people here, please do feel quite free to try, of course. I won't be offended at all, for sure, if you do.

Of course you can choose the names of your teams, EC, any time you want to. But you generally prefer not to potentially cause trouble for anyone, if you can possibly avoid it at all, for various reasons, no doubt. So you basically use items that others have made and go from there, generally without making a lot of requests of people like I have often done in the past and all, I believe. In essence, you generally do not like to rock the proverbial boat, so to speak, if you don't have to, right?

Let me know if you feel there is any team that could perhaps be up my alley, so to speak, in terms of design natures and all, please, if you don't mind too much at any time, Eugene. And then I'll certainly try to do the best I can, however I can, whenever you let me know that, as the Lord leads and all, of course.

It may not be what many might call traditional-type looks for any such team, of course, especially you, but you definitely didn't expect me to produce what I ultimately have produced so far for Hillsboro's Blazers with God's help, for sure. I admit I did well on many of the items I've made for them so far, but that is ONLY because God helped me while I was working on them, and helping me stay focused and all with them, especially in terms of what pertained to your wishes and all for that team, I'm quite sure.

Will write more later, I'm sure, if and when possible, Lord willing. Here are 3 Primary Logos for the Avalon Valiants.
I will use the middle one probably... it will show up better in the game.
I had trouble using the Prince Valiant font... it spiked badly when I tried to add outline to it.

Also did the Secondary Logo just using the shield... it is not real clean on the jagged edges, but it's the best I can do.

CD, it is a little bit larger than your version... I made it a little bigger so it will shown up on the game screens a little bit better... it's 10% larger than your version.

You did a fine job on the Hillsboro Blazers... and the Avalon Valiants are alright, too... a couple of them are good except for too much shading... at least in my opinion... I'm not a fan of a lot of shading... it darkens the jerseys too much.

Among the last four Avalon Jerseys, number three and number four, the White Jersey with the Prince Valiant shield and the Dark Blue Jersey with the shield looked pretty good... you did a nice job coordinating the colors... just think the White one has too much shading... please don't rework them for me... I'm telling you how I think you could improve your jerseys.

CD, the best way to get well-done graphics on the OOTP Mods Forum today is to just download logos, jerseys and caps that have already been produced by people like txranger, low and Lawn Loaf... you just can't pick your town name and nickname... you have to use what they create.

Recently, I got lucky when golem64, rocknfire7, Lone Thrashers Fan, Lawn Loaf and Iseldeyod did some Islandian Pro Alliance updates for me... they all did good work.

Don't add outlines to the Prince Valiant font, then, EC. I didn't when I did the above items with text in the font I used as seen above for my related posts.

As far as shading, a lot of percentages were chosen based on certain dates, or calendar years, or have been chosen, based on them, with the first percentages used being for the first part of those dates or years, and the second for the other parts of them. For instance, the year 1540, for one of my teams seen above that I'm working on, I think. The 15 portion was used for the light half percentage, and 40 for the dark half percentage, with one of them, when it came to shadings and textures, I believe. And for shadows, another number percentage was used, of course, to allow them to appear certain ways.

I still think it would be better to use the logo's resized versions I made for you. Of course, if you want the actual color codes from the logo, I can certainly try to get them for you, EC. And the versions I did for you were also transparent versions too, it seems, just so you know. But feel free to use what you like, of course.

For Avalon's Valiants, it seems the shadings were 19% light and 37% dark, shadows 82% baggy, and the textures 19% percent light and 37% dark, on all the related uniforms made, whether the textures used were mesh or cotton for them. For the caps, the shadings for them all seem to be 19% light and 37% dark, with textures being at 82% with either mesh or grain texture used. Just so you know, EC.

As far as colors used besides white on the uniforms, they seem to be, according to the site where I got the necessary color codes as follows:

9e2200 (158,34,0) [Rufous] <The reddish color>
ffe3a6 (255,227,166) [Peach] <The yellowish-white color>
092241 (9,34,65) [Oxford Blue] <The bluish color>

Show me what you have for your logos related to the IPA's two subleagues, please, and give me the necessary color codes and all, and I'll see what I can do for you, in regards to caps and/or uniforms for both subleagues' All-Star teams, EC. Once I've made them, or at least one home and one away uniform and/or cap for either subleague, then I'll let you know where to put them and all, if someone hasn't already done so by then.

Also, which eight teams/locations have you now decided to eliminate from your current recreational leagues, just to be curious and all? Please advise and all, as you like and can, of course, EC. CD out.

Actually, your resizing of the smaller logo version that I did made it 12.1 percent larger than the smaller version of the shield was when I did it. As far as the text on your first and third circular versions of the logo, the spacing between letters is possibly a bit too wide at the present time. If you bring the letters closer together, and make the round logo bigger, like maybe at a size of 300x300 pixels, you may be able to fit a small helmet or something in between the ends of both words, on the left and the right, I think.

The game has spaces for primary and secondary logos, as you know, and 300x300 probably works the best for primary logos, while 150x150 might work best for secondary ones, in most cases, in terms of logo sizes. I really don't think circular logos would be best to use, however, for the Valiants here. Other teams, maybe, but not the Valiants, in this case. Just my opinion, that's all. But do as you wish, of course.

I've used some of the jerseys for the Chillin' Baseballs (Chillers) and they look really good in game! They actually won a World Series wearing some of the jerseys!
