Btw, if you do leave the group at one point for some other battles, let me know if you want to do a small friendly list and see if we can find and battle the Yaks and other tough top teams. There are some untested things with the Base Thieves that I have been wanting to try.

That was one of my previous goals...slowly move up the ladder from top100 to top25 (wins) in the PT universe. I think I made it to #26 before I started taking a beating here.

I think I have had 3-4 outfielders once in the playoffs but 7 is a lot.

That remind me...do you know if strategy settings have an impact on getting more tired players? In other words, a slider toward trying "more steals" leads to more exhausted players?

I hate when that happens and for no reason. They will be pitching wonderfully and then all of a sudden they can’t get anyone out. 😡

Well I had good news and bad news. The good news is we got 14 hits and three of my 7 cold hitters are now back to normal. The bad news is we lost 7-4 and one of my hot pitcher got shelled so he is also back to normal. Anyway I sent one of my struggling players down and now I only have three who are cold. This all comes at a bad time. So many teams are bunched together that a loss can drop you 4 spots in the WC race. Lol.

Well we come home for a three game series before we go back on the road and that would normally make me very happy but we are not running on all cylinders and with home cooking I like to be running at full strength to take advantage at being home. I also am not playing as well at home as I would like. This season has been one up and down ride all year long juggling all the way. 🤹*♂️

I've been going through slumps with one of my other teams. They went from .700 to .570 in no time.


I have a bunch of switch hitters on that team and I only left them in the line up where they hit better (and moved them down in the lineup).

Last season Cap Anson had a 38... yes 38 game cold slump .. i mean it might of even been longer ... but i just remember looking at the whos hot and cold ... and he was at 38 games ... i even tried benching him for a month ... and when he came back .. was still slumping .. and still stinking

That's tough, I'm in the wildcard hunt but have been out of the playoffs for both years after winning a crazy world series before joining the Orcin league. You are still in the hunt but ya, that can be super frustrating.
