The Rangers stay up north for three games in Minnesota against the Twins. Runs could be hard to come by in this series. The only team in the American League that has scored fewer runs this season than the Twins is the Rangers.

The Tigers have lost LF Ike Brown for the season because of a ruptured medial collateral ligament. He is expected to miss 10 months.

The Rangers have been swept in three of the five series they have had this season. They return home for six games. First up is a three game series against Detroit. The Tigers have lost 4 straight just like the Rangers. Detroit has one of the best offenses in the American League and leads the league in home runs. However, the Tigers are the only team in the league with a higher bullpen ERA than the Rangers.

With 7 straight losses and being swept already 4 times in the month of April, the Rangers are entering historically bad territory. They host the Brewers for a 3 game weekend series. The Brewers strength this season has been pitching as they are third in the league in starters and bullpen ERA. A bad matchup against the worst offense in the league.
