Just wondering, is the big update still on for this month or has that time frame changed?

Also the MR Jairo Asencio/Luis Valdez before the previous patch, Valdez had the history of his 2009 stint in the majors, in the new last patch he's gone but the mlb history hasn't been transfered to Asencio, has it/will it be included in the big update?

Hey I just caught this and I didn't change this. I will check to see if one of the other guys did.

Since the new update is out, most of the new stuff has been added. We were able to get in all the "signed" 2011 draftees into the game as well as being able to add all the Non drafted free agents as well. I didn't do a final count though it was around 250 to 300 or so players just as non drafted free agents and it had to be at least 1000 or more signed draft picks. All are individually rated and set to current real positions depending on what they're playing currently in the minors. Some guys haven't played a game so we had to set their position based on the scouting reports or info where they played in college or the pros.

The great thing about having all the draftees in game and rated is that for a 2012 set in our database all these guys are already here and rated so it's gonna be easy to just drag them over to their actual teams so next years opening day set won't have any "1" rated players.

I was also able to go in and finish off all the top 30 prospects for all teams. Also able to edit about 600 lower minor leaguers who were either improperly rated or had 1 ratings. I am still working at it team by team and if there's another update planned, many more guys will be re-rated for that update.

Again any issues you find let me know. You dont have to worry about telling me if you find any 1 rated guys. I am working team by team on ratings so I will eventually catch these guys.

Did ti come with the Update? How about Rosters as of September 1st? Injure List up to date? Stats up to September 1st?
Some Players are just IF/OF from High School and College and also can Pitcher. Bubba Starling is not on the Royals.

Draftees are not on their teams, as this would essentially mean two 2011 drafts.

Okay you can un Schedule 2011 Draft or start League in 2012 and add Seniors from 2012 in it.

Not sure if this has been logged already, if it has then just ignore this. Noticed that Francisco "K-Rod" Rodriguez stats for the 2010 season are those of his namesake on the Angels and not his stats for said season, his namesake has no major league stats for the 2010season, started the game using the newest patch and checked an older game using a previous patch and it's as above.

Is there anyway I can edit the stats myself? If so can someone post an idiots guide to editing, thanks.

Hey folks, this is a bit anecdotal, but...

Is it me, or do college players from the 2011 draft class seem to be taking a long time to get to the majors. I've simmed half a dozen years or so, it seems like there's a lot of debuts of players between ages 25 and 28 who were drafted college age in 2011. If there is an issue and it's not just me, I would guess the current ratings on 2011 draft eligible college players are a bit too low.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Many historical players from prior to 1900 do not have a team assigned for parts of their careers. This impacts negatively on MLB records as these seasons are not counted as offically seasons. For example, anyone who looks at the all time wins leader on the leaderboards section will NOT see Cy Young as he has not been credited with any of his wins prior to 1900 (as a Cleveland Spider).

THIS IS ONLY AN ISSUE IN MLB 2011 GAMES NOT HISTORICAL SIMS USING 1871-2010 DATABASE.

you can always export the stats edit them with notepad them import them back in. It is really easy just tedious as there are alot of stats that are inlcuded but otherwise it is really easy

Hey guys I just wanted to commend you on the job you did with the roster set. OOTP is a very very complex game, and to be able to do what you guys have done is absolutely astounding. I'm normally a historical player so this is my first shot with the set, and I have to say I am mighty mighty impressed. Again, great job!
