First name problems looking over the DBacks.

We got THREE Ramon Ramirez in the game

I took the liberty to make these changes and added these photos.

Ramon A. Ramirez (the guy you got the picture of) is the pitcher in the Reds organization. I got a new photo with Reds uniform and I renamed him Ramon A Ramirez.

Ramon Ramirez with the KC Royals is also a Pitcher and he got no middle initial so he remains Ramon Ramirez with new photo

Ramon Bartolo Ramirez is with the DBacks and playing 3B.
Ramon B Ramirez for him then so we have hopefully sorted the Ramon Ramirez problem out

Question is do I have the correct photos ???
I did check both MLB and MiLB so this is my best shot

We then got a Joshua Johnson that I think we should rename to Josh N Johnson being a catcher in Rays minors

I am at year 3 in your roster set and in the ammy draft all the players are 16 and 17 years old. I have it set to show all players and that is all I get.

Hey -

I've got another problem - I'm a little scared to keep going here.

I haven't played a game yet or finished a day yet (thus, I'm on Tuesday 4/1 according to the game). I added myself as manager and taken over the Dodgers. I've studied my roster for a few hours and made my initial roster changes (just major/minor promotions/demotions and filling my 40-man).

So I go into the transaction log and it has me releasing 3 players I didn't release (I didn't release anybody, actually - and at least one of the players is a very good prospect). The players are still listed, however, on my rosters.

Moreover, and more concerning to me, it has me performing all KINDS of transactions on Wednesday, 4/2 - which I haven't even advanced to (I've posted the list below). I'm scared to finish 4/1 and find that all those transactions have occurred.

Thoughts....

All that means is that Cubby didn't clear out the transaction history for the team before he zipped it up. I wouldn't worry about it at all. You can go in and delete all of the team .txt files if you want and that will go away.

He should be in as an active since you got this roster at the start of the season and it did cost Pirates some bucks to drop him.

Leave him in, he like Barry Bonds are one of those that could and should be in.

As this note shows he was not officially out until end of April. Whatever has happend after season started will be left to the AI and the gamer since it´s a simulation from that time on.
I even like the idea to have even some more guys unretired, since they might be having one last season, but that´s another matter

I ran into this as well. The first game created draft class was nothing but 16 year olds.

I thought I had it fixed. I found that under the league options page, he had created player age range between 16 and 50. I changed the lower range to 18....and the next draft class was 900 18 year old kids.

So I added fictional college and high school feeder leagues and filled those with fictional players. The players it added to those leagues were of the correct age ranges.

The next draft class had a diverse range of ages, from 18 to 22. But it also had 2230 players, enough for 81 rounds. And only 42 of those players were rated as having higher then 1 star potential.

Maybe Cubby can figure out how to resolve this?

Did you double-check your draft settings after adding the feeder league? If I'm not mistaken, the game will automatically set up a larger draft after you add a feeder league.
