Nothing has happened yet.

The venue (the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion in Stuttgart) was where Germany beat Portugal 3-1 to finished in 3rd place at the World Cup two months ago.

And the referee (Luis Medina Cantalejo) has two claims to fame at the World Cup. 1 - he gave the late penalty to Italy that sunk Australian dreams, and 2 - he was the fourth official who alerted the referee to the Rhino's gore on Materazzi in the final.

And in the time it has taken for me to right this, still nothing has happened.
There's fog from fireworks at one end of the field though.
