In addition to old heavyweights Dan Daily and Tom McCarty, does anyone have a photo of Austin Rice, fine Waterford, Connecticut featherweight, from the turn of the last century? My grandfather knew him. I wish my Gramp was still around. I remember him talking about meeting Bob Fitzsimmons in a Brooklyn bar(Gramp lived in Brooklyn or awhile), but I wasn't into oldtime boxers at the time. Boy, I'd pay attention now.

Old heavyweights Dan DAILY and Tom McCARTY just popped in, to remind me that their photos are still missing. Perhaps an autographed photo of Tom McCarty is lying in some great grandparent's attic, in a place like Cutchogue, Long Island... Nah! So I'll go to New Castle and Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and I'll ask random passersby,"Ma'am, did your great grandfather know Dan Daily?" This would be a solid start.
