Not according to the box scores of the games, evidently. Something seems somewhat fishy here with how OOTP reckons statistical lines for playoff series, at least sometimes, if not always, to be honest, as far as I can tell. Clearly, he didn't bat .522 in that series, for sure, jg2977. Even if the recap says he did, among other players and their proper statistical lines. CD out.

The box score shows his statistics for the entire playoffs. That includes the 1st and 2nd rounds in 1879. For the Ruthlandian Union Championship Series, in those 5 games he batted .522. See post #726 of my IPA thread, this screenshot shows the stats for ONLY this one series vs. Marston. This is what is displayed on the SERIES SUMMARY screen

Just posted these items in another person's request thread. Here are several items I just made here for a prospective team called the Glasgow Dragons. More may follow later, perhaps, but we'll have to wait and see if they do here, you know, folks. However, I still can't do logos yet, unfortunately, of course. Maybe someone else around these forums can actually do the relevant logos for that team instead, to match the colors and font I'm using on items for this team here. The current font is Gaelic, and the current color-related details are below:

Starting after the 1881 postseason, at the very latest, I will need to start seeing at least basic reports for the Kenwood Wildcats, the Sugar Valley Rattlers, and the Turon Typhoons, jg2977, so that I can start tailoring the proper profiles for all three remaining relevant players accordingly. As for Jethro, you most likely will need to perhaps clear at least some space in the middle infield and/or at center field and/or for the pitching staff on Glasco, because Jethro is most likely going to play at least shortstop and/or center field, if not also pitch, I think, once he's done with college and enters your IPA.

Tanner Garber is going to play up the middle for Kenwood when he begins, at least in the middle infield and/or center field, if not also either or both sides of the battery. So you will want to see if you can perhaps clear a spot for them on Kenwood's roster, fairly soon, I think. And most definitely you'll need to try and do that somehow by 1884 or 1885, for he'll then be debuting in either of those two IPA seasons, most likely, as well, once he gets out of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

If Barrett Parverol and/or Simon Clairborne don't go to college, they will be due to start in your IPA circa 1883. If they do, then their IPA debuts will be pushed forwards into the future until at least 1887 or 1888. Barrett is due to start with Sugar Valley and Simon for Turon, just so you know, sometime in the future for both, if at all possible, of course, jg2977.

Looks like Belle Plaine held down Morse in their series against Glasco, and the pitching was largely terrible, too, for Glasco. Maybe by the time that Jethro gets in, the Celtics will have better pitching and all, of course. They're weak in the middle infield, at least, I think. Woolwine and Barnicle, among others, don't seem to be cutting it well on the field at the applicable positions. I suspect that either or both of them, if not others as well, will have to be moved or something, for the area around second to stabilize easily enough for Glasco here. And they need more pitching, too, it seems to me here, jg2977. CD out.

Well, Glasco did win the Pro Cup in 1879. Things just didn’t work out in 1880. What did the Celtics in were their atrocious first innings. In one game they allowed 7 runs in the first, another game they allowed 9, and 5 in a third game.

Barnicle and Woolwine, at least, haven't been doing well for a while, on average, so maybe they need to be sent elsewhere, or play elsewhere for Glasco, I think, jg2977. And we'll need to clear somewhere for Jethro Morse to play on Glasco, especially seeing as I would prefer to see him play next to Zebulon on one side or another somewhere, at least a little bit, as well. Germaniac has also recently contributed some rather nice-looking items to that thread as well, for sure. I don't have matching caps made for the eight uniforms I just made and posted there, to be sure, but those should be made and posted soon enough, I hope, if and whenever possible and all. Just to be clear, who is the next player entering my IPA, and what year?

Jethro Paul Morse is planned for 1883 or 1884, at the latest, once he finishes college at your choice of either the University of Missouri at Columbia or the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 1882 or 1883, most likely 1882. If Barrett Parverol doesn't go to college, and/or Simon Clairborne does not go to college, they will then debut in 1883, most likely. But I am thinking of sending them both to college. Tanner will finish at the University of Virginia in 1883 or 1884, at the latest, which will slot him into starting in your IPA in 1884 or 1885.

Here's what I currently expect so far for the remaining four agreed-upon prospective IPA players of this generation:

Jethro Paul (Or just Jethro) Morse: 1883 or 1884 IPA entry for Glasco, College graduate from either UMC or UMSL (Hometown St. Louis, MO; Date of Birth August 20, 1860) [SS-OF-P; Bats Switch,Throws Right]

Tanner Garber: 1884 or 1885 IPA entry for Kenwood, College Graduate from University of Virginia at Charlottesville (Hometown Staunton, VA; Date of Birth September 26, 1861) [MI-CF-C-P; Bats Switch, Throws Right\

Now depending on whether either or both of these two go to college as well, their entry years could be different here, of course. I will make the required college decisions on Barrett Parverol and/or Simon Clairborne once I see enough information related to Sugar Valley in Barrett's case and to Turon in Simon's case. Depending on their respective team states by the end of the 1882 IPA postseasons, I will then decide whether or not Barrett and/or Simon will go to college somewhere, for sure.

In any case, Barrett's birthdate, yet again, is February 3, 1864, and Simon's is March 28, 1864. I have not decided their respective birthplaces yet, most likely, but when I decide whether or not to send them to college, I'll let you know what they are, if I haven't already done so.

You should probably expect Jethro to start circa 1883 or 1884, once he gets out of college. Tanner should debut in your IPA this time around in 1884 or 1885. If the other two go to college, as I'm suspecting they most likely will do, then they won't start playing in your IPA before 1887 or 1888, at the earliest. Just so you know, jg2977. Jethro is most likely the next player to enter your IPA, at the least. I don't think he'd be entering at the same time as either Barrett or Simon, if not both of them, unless they come right out of high school themselves, of course. CD out.

Looks like I finally was able to get Chapter Fourteen of my main story Lighting Up the Darkness completed sufficiently well in at least a first-draft status, after several months of working on it as often and as best as I could, at least, if not for at least a year, folks. It surely was a very hard and challenging chapter to write up, I must say, in complete honesty here. Hopefully, the remaining ten or eleven chapters that have yet to be written up for it won't actually be quite as difficult to write up and all, of course, before I finally finish writing the entire first draft of this story, somehow.
