It's a fantastic achievement for Mike. I just wish the powers that be had allowed him to be posting here when the milestone was reached.

LBA State of the Union
updates found here
http://www.mh2365fansite.com/viewtop...1&p=7248#p7248 - Currently in Feb. 1914 - using fighters from 1800-1914, 1942-44, 1972-1974, 1992-1994 - all weight classes in use but most of the jr's haven't had fighters get to the main division yet - 813 fighters in main, 629 in club, 893 in beginners, and 94 officially retired - using Tomato Can's world regions for regional titles (great work) - if you go back to page 77 in the above thread there is a video of the Jack Johnson vs. Joe Jeannette fight (heed all warnings mentioned in the post) - Fan Favorite Aurelio Herrera was killed in a post fight surgery to reduce brain swelling in June of 1913, he was the second ring death in the LBA Perhaps the biggest news LBA will present what I believe to be the first ever LIVE Title Bout Boxing match Thursday July 2nd at 10:15 PM EST. It will be the biggest fight in LBA History Bob Fitzsimmons (48-5) who holds the LHW IBF title and the HW WBC title will face Jack Dillon (32-1-1) who holds the WBA LHW title. All you need to do is go to this link: www.yuuguu.com/share PIN 391688 at 10:15 PM EST Thursday night and my computer screen will pop up in your browser along with a chat screen. Fight will start around 10:30. Up to 30 people can watch and chat. For all those concerned generic ring card girls will be used for the live fight

Dillon shows up out of shape and Fitzsimmons pastes him scoring a 13th round TKO. A few guys showed up to watch and it was fun. Will pick two fights in the next gaming month and will probably do it again.

One "Live" fight is set for March
IBF MW title fight as Mike Gibbons (27-0) puts his 3rd longest unbeaten streak up against #11 Les Darcy (22-1) ... Darcy's only loss came to George Gunther while Darcy was pre. This will be a tough one for Gibbons to keep the streak alive. He is only behind Tommy Ryan (34) and Jack Johnson (33) |
