I believe Mac installer files are . dmg format, but have seen . pkg before

I had the STEAM version...but I decided to download the standalone for 20 bucks to add the impending doom. I did so successfully, but I had some system issues later on and unfortunately had to uninstall the new version because I now had two OOTP versions on my hard drive and I needed to uninstall to get things right. It's unfortunate, because after I re-installed, the version had changed to build 110. That meant I was out of luck, so I pretty much threw up my hands and just packed it all in.

It's not a question of me getting a version, it's about getting a build that's 105 or earlier. Without an earlier build, it's going to do its thing obviously.

How would one know if that site has permission or not? Why would one care? I guess they could have been under the redacted league's radar until the link was posted here?

What's the relevance to OOTP???

Well, I find it curious that they can use logos/images/likenesses and nobody seems to care??? When OOTPD did it, a hissy fit was thrown. Do you really think this site has permission or pays royalties to each and every one of these leagues they display logos for?

OOTP sells a video game that included the league. Konami has the exclusive rights to the league in any video game. It's that simple.

As for the relevance to OOTP, there is none because the link that was posted is not a video game nor is it a product that's being sold.

They're not owned by a large company and aren't worth bothering with?

They don't technically sell anything for profit? Have no idea how the advertising on those board is counted as, like this whole redacted league issue, I am not a lawyer.

Maybe if we make enough noise we can do all of the redacted league's policing for them?

In the end it's up to the owner of said material to decide when and where to enforce their rights.

OOTP's problem is what it is. That site is irrelevant in regard to OOTP's situation. Anyone saying "but what about site X" isn't going to change anything other than, maybe, getting site X taken down.

I suspect the "key" difference is OOTP makes money on the baseball references and SportsLogos.net does not. The only thing SportsLogos.net is doing is collecting publicly available information and displaying it in one location.
