Here are some ideas I've thought of for possible new names related to Avalon, if you don't choose to keep Oldtimers as the applicable team's nickname in one of your dynasty leagues, Eugene. Although, if you still might possibly want to somehow stick with the Arthurian theme and all for the team in question, Oldtimers might still be a suitable enough name for the team, I think, based on me looking up some information about King Arthur and related details and all:

I think I have decided on the Avalon Valiants... the font is an Olde English type... the shield is Prince Valiant's from the comic strip.
I will see if I can get a good graphic designer here on the Forum to create the Primary Logo, Secondary Logo, Jerseys and Caps.
The colors will probably be the Rust Red and Orange Gold.

Two caps for the Phoenix Tricksters, although they still need a logo or two, at least, which I believe others might actually be able to provide later, at some point, somehow. If and when that logo or those logos are made, I might then perhaps do a couple more caps for them. If I don't add caps of various colors to reflect certain Tricksters team colors, of course, that is, folks. That is all. CD out.

To complete at least the basic sets for the first twelve teams for this prospective Arizona league, I'll need to make at least two, but probably at least four, new caps in total for the remaining two teams (Tucson Strikers and Yuma Heatwave), and will need at least two logos apiece for those two teams, if not more, it seems, along with logos for the teams that do not have already-made logos for them put into the applicable dynasty game. The teams that have logos for them are as follows:

Nogales-Tombstone Miners
Tucson Strikers

The teams that do not yet have logos for them are as follows:

Lake Havasu Bridgers (Perhaps something related to Old London Bridge might work?)

Yuma Heatwave

Also need some logos for North Division and South Division. Preferably undated, but if you wish to include a date, the current year in this test dynasty is 1901, and the league is entirely Arizona-based, as well. I am using txranger's Arizona Baseball League logo for the overall league logo at this point, in this test dynasty, for this league, in fact.

If anyone is willing to try and do some logos for this league and/or its teams, I and koohead, at least, would most likely be quite appreciative here. I know I would for sure, at least, anyway. Now I suppose I'd best see about trying to get the other needed caps done for Tuscon and Yuma as quickly and as best as possible, in any case. Lord willing and all, of course, that is. CD out.

Yuma's caps should be up later sometime, but I don't yet know if I'll be able to have them up and all by midnight my time. We'll have to wait and see, of course, folks. But I still think chances may be good that they will be, in any case, somehow.

After I finish getting Yuma's looks up as best as I can at the present time, whenever that is, I'll post the current bonus team's items that I've made, or am in the process of making, as soon as I can. As for the other potential bonus teams, I still might need some input from the rest of you on them, in terms of suggestions and all, based on the earlier list of team names I was and am still considering perhaps using for them, folks, before I can do and finish their potential looks, I think.

Once we have all the other needed logos and all, I think we should be able to call this concept done well enough, Koohead. I still need eight batches of logos for the teams that don't have any yet which I've done items for here.

Please consider asking around, and seeing if anyone can perhaps provide the needed logos for the eight teams listed above that don't have any made for them, if you don't mind too much. If they do so, then maybe I can even do certain other items for teams here that don't yet have any alternate items for them besides the base ones, of course.

You should perhaps expect a PM from me by the end of the weekend, if possible, and I'll let you know what at least one of the bonus teams, or at least its potential location, might be, if I don't mention it by name here first, koohead. As far as the other names I mentioned for possible use as team nicknames, perhaps you can let me know which ones you might like best at the present time, or suggest others that might work well too.

CD, as you know I only use traditional type baseball jerseys and caps.
Your style and type are too fancy for me.
The Avalon Valiants are too unique for my tastes... I'm not into mesh caps and jerseys... just plain and simple jerseys and caps is what I like.

Your Arizona League jerseys and caps are OK, but they are nothing I would ever use in my leagues... I like standard type jerseys and caps.

Here are screenshots of what I want my jerseys and caps to look like... they were done by knuckler, just about the best graphics designer we ever had on the OOTP Graphics Forum.

Well, I can always remake them without the mesh on the uniforms, if not also the caps. I thought, though, since we were talking about Prince Valiant, and Avalon, for instance, that something that looked sort of like knights' armor might suit you here fairly well, somehow. And there was/is a free font called that which I used for the text, as well, on the caps and uniforms, in truth.

The Prince Valiant font is a good font to use at times for graphics, and I probably have used it several times, at least, before, if memory serves me correctly, even back before i ever came to these forums here. IF you want me to, I'll rework the current uniforms and caps to not have mesh on them, as best as possible, and as quickly as possible. I'll probably do that anyway, come to think of it, in truth. At least for myself, if not others as well.

The colors I used on the uniforms and caps besides white, I took specifically from the single logo you provided, and also resized the provided logo to the appropriate sizes as well, as needed and all, Eugene. If nothing else, you can at least use those items here, I think, for your ideal version or version of the Valiants' uniforms and/or caps, whether or not you happen to use any of the items I just did for you here.

I'm fine with you not liking some of my work, at least, if you don't want to. I'm not offended or upset about your thoughts, either, in truth, and I won't get angry with you for mentioning them to me, simply because you were honest and respectful when you expressed them to me here, for sure. CD, I am glad that you have found a thread where your work is appreciated... you have pleased quite a few of them... they like your unique style.

Thank you for offering to rework the Avalon Valiants... but that would take too much of your time... I would rather you use your time to help the gamers who like your type of graphics and designs.

Please don't do anymore work on the Avalon Valiants.

Also, thank you for just using the three colors shown on the Prince Valiant shield... I was glad you didn't add any additional colors... actually, I plan to just use the Reddish Rust and the Orange Gold colors... I will probably not use the Dark Blue or Black Color in the Jerseys and Caps, just in the Logos.
