Well the hype is over. Pedro gives up 2 homers and three runs in his 5 inning start with Rocky Point. Perfect Pedro was not very perfect his first game out.....😁

If I can’t win with these two fronting my rotation then I really don’t know what to do. To me they are like the old Koufax, Drysdale combo. I now have a wonderful starting staff. Perhaps the best in the league. (Maybe in any league) 😁

Standings going into the final day of the final regular season :
- Still some races to be had .. Looks like the Warriors might of locked up their division with a hot run to end the month - I do not know what is happening in the AC Central ... tight race all around with everyone hovering at .500 .. first sub 500 division champ? perhaps... - Each wildcard seems to have 1 spot locked up .... In the AC you have 3 teams with in 1 1/2 games for the final spot .... In the NC a whopping 6 teams within 3 games of the final spot |

I didn't expect my Beachgoers to be in the thick of things this late in the season.
My expectation coming into this league was to avoid relegation and see how an all-lefty rotation would fare against tough competiton. Instead I find ourselves fighting for the division tiltle in September. P.S. I know that with this post I have now killed all our chances to make the postseason

I have a feeling of deja-vu for my Warriors. The "best record in the league and first round exit" scenario looks very possible again. |

Is that what he went for? I could have got him cheaper then . I paid 700 . When I Started this league I had a bunch of players that later became much more expensive then when I bought them. I figured I would never need them again because I thought our league would never fold so I started to sell them off and wait for that perfect Pedro to come along. I had about 900,000 stashed away after selling some more last week and saw Schilling who I wanted badly. I got him for 550000 and thought here I go don’t need no steaking Pedro. So I had Schilling and sold 97 Pedro for 200,000. Then I saw Pedro for 850,000 and did not have the pp and figured I did not need him anyway with Schilling so I did not buy more pp to get him.I then started selling guys like Treinen and got a hair over 700,000 and wondered what the hell I would do with that many pp because 20 was right around the corner and I can only manage one team at a time. Then I was going to put a bid on Pedro before I went to sleep but all of a sudden I see him for 700,000 buy now. Since I now had 722,000 pp I jumped on it and got Pedro. Now it looks like the market might go down to like it was when we started playing. People might be saving their greed for 20 and selling off 19 for regular prices. Though I do not know what they will do with the PP. I was worried awhile about that. It ain’t like a bank where you draw interest. And to sell Pedro only makes sense if you want to build a team with the PP but with 20 right around the corner. It is a wise move for people who want to stay because the market looks like it is going back to normal while 20 could be insane. Who knows. 😁

. But 1st place is 1st place. You make the playoffs anything can happen. But Zorro, Dragons, Burgers and the Warriors are frankly too good to beat.Good Luck!

Oh believe you me I know this. The Angry Dragons I have followed all year(Literally In fact lol) by watching all their boxscores and I have never seen a better clutch group. I actually know I cannot beat this team out for the Division crown. They have that certain something that just jells. I had that one season when I won 117 games. I would come back in games the weirdest and most wonderful way no matter what the score was. I see that team in the Dragons. They will not win 117 games because this league is to tough for that but they outclass my group of players with that winning attitude that I only can call Magical. Phatpartie always fields a top shelf team and is a wonderful manager but this is the first season I actually think I cannot beat him. I usually feel I always have a chance to win (Because why play if I don’t feel that way) but this season I can’t beat him head to head and as I watch his boxscores and see how he performs I am not sure I could get enough help to win from other teams. Now I am talking about the Division. In the playoffs all Betts are off on who wins it. We have proven winners like Collingwood and the Seatle Base thieves (Who is in the WC race) who have won multiple titles along with the Dragons and also I never count out The Breakers who have not won one yet but is one of the finest managers and person in this league. I always root for him to get one .(Unless he plays against me) Also we have Zorro, Who wants to repeat so badly he is doing everything in his power to do so. The playoffs could be amazing to follow this season but yet again , What else is new. 😁

Playoff prediction time:
Warriors against Magpies. Warriors will be tired after tough competition in the AC playoffs. Magpies were close in the past. This time Magpies surprise in 7.
