Cards notes: DeJong sent to Memphis, Mejia called back up
The Cardinals have sent struggling shortstop Paul DeJong to AAA Memphis and called utility infielder Alex Mejia up from the Redbirds.
DeJong is hitting just .217 with four homers and 19 RBIs for the big club. Mejia had much success in a recent call up to the majors, batting .300 in 29 games, before a numbers game forced him to be sent back down. Last edited by rink23; 04-29-2018 at 06:46 AM. |
