Lucuis Pendergast has been made an offer for an extension from the Chicago White Sox!

The offer is for 4 years, and contains no options

The final two years of his arbitration years remaining, and then a 2 year deal

The payouts are as follows:

2020 - Age 24 season - $18,000,000
2021 - Age 25 season - $20,000,000 (final year of arbitration)
2022 - Age 26 season - $21,000,000
2023 - Age 27 season - $22,000,000

This is an accept or decline offer only. Lucius' projected arbitration payout for the 2020 season is $18,000,000 any way. Should NateandStuff choose to decline this offer, then Lucius will make $18,000,000 in 2020, his age 24 season, and return for arbitration in 2021, his final year of arbitration.

$81,000,000 is promised in the extension over 4 years. This is the second offer that Lucius has been made by the South Siders.

NateandStuff, do you accept or decline?

Barry Rivers has been offered a contract extension from the Seattle Mariners!

The offer is for 4 years

The last two years cover his arbitration years remaining, and then basically a 2 year deal following that

The payouts are as follows:

2020 - Age 27 season - $16,000,000
2021 - Age 28 season - $18,000,000 (final year of arbitration)
2022 - Age 29 season - $19,000,000
2023 - Age 30 season - $20,000,000

This is an accept or decline offer only. Rivers' projected arbitration payout for the 2020 season is $16,000,000. Should Storm choose to decline this offer, then Rivers will make $16,000,000 in 2020, his age 27 season, and return for arbitration in 2021, his final year of arbitration.

The contract guarantees Rivers $73,000,000 over 4 years

Feeling pretty awesome about myself. First full season as a starter and I finish 3rd in the AL Cy with a 9 WAR season!?!? I know I'm not hitting .400 like my catcher, but I am an anchor in the rotation for years to come.

If Minnesota is smart, they will bring the dollars... but save some for my catcher!

Obviously my injury record is going to make them wary about offering an extension... but I also don't really want one.

I have a lot to offer a team and I'm tired of rotting away in Miami!

I'm just sitting here confused about my terrible pitching yet way better FIP and WAR than a 5:00 ERA would have! When will I actually become what I obviously am supposed to be
