Here are some caps to go with the related uniforms from circa May 2021. The font in question for them is Charger, and whether or not I posted the color-related details for my original take on the Colorado Rockies, here it is, for the first three caps I'm posting here. The next post will have the items for my second take on the Rockies in it, just so you know, folks.

Color-related information for my first take on the Colorado Rockies here, in terms of non-white colors, of course:

Here are the items I've just made for another take on the Colorado Rockies. Feel free to use them or not, as you like, of course, folks. The current font used on these items is Carved Rock, and the currently-relevant color-related information is below:

Sure, CD... I will share with you some of the things we did on the vacation.

As far as you recent graphics works, you already know my opinion of your graphics work... I'm just like smythmjd... you have a taste that differs with mine... I like traditional styles and colors... you prefer your style... and that is fine.

On a few occasions you have done some very nice work in a traditional fashion and I have told you that is some of the best work you have done.

If you want people to use your graphics, you will have to do them in a style that they like, which is almost always a traditional style.

You are unique in your designs and colors... and that is fine... just make graphics for yourself and for your own leagues and your own enjoyment.
Don't spend time trying to please people like me and smythmjd, who prefer traditional styles and colors.

Just my opinion... Red and Green do not make good colors for a baseball team... it would work well for Mexico, but not for Colorado.

Red, White, Blue and Gold do not go well together in my opinion... Red, White and Blue look good... or Blue and Gold would look good... but not the 4 colors mixed together.

The Gold ruins the Colorado graphics for me... it does not go well with Red and Blue.

In my opinion, you use too many colors on most of your graphics... many times you spoil them with odd colors that don't coordinate well together.

Most of the time, teams use only two colors on their graphics and most of the time they work well together... try to do that and perhaps people will like your work more and they will be asking you to create something for them.

Dodgers use Blue and White.
Yanks use Navy and White.
Reds use Red and White.
Pirates use Black and Yellow
Padres use Brown and Yellow

In general, teams use White at home and Gray on the road.

The California Seals are OK... the Green, Gold and White go together well... Why did you use the blue, too?... it doesn't look good in my opinion.

Make the blue collar gold (to match the sleeves)... on the cap just use gold, not blue trim... don't use the blue trim on CALIFORNIA... use gold lettering.

Nope, I wouldn't use this set... sorry, but it's the truth.

The Quebec Nordiques are well done with good color coordination and in a traditional style... this is nicely done... I think some people might use it.

Try to make most of your graphics like this... you used just Red and Blue with white... it works well.

Just use 2 or 3 colors at most on your graphics and make sure that they look good together... then more people might like your work.

I don't think teams use 3 letters on their caps and jerseys... that is, include the initials for the town and the nickname together.

AMG for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks would not likely be used in US baseball... maybe in Europe... however, that is jg2977 decision... these are for him.

It should be A for Anaheim or MD for Mighty Ducks, but it should not be put together... just my opinion.

You asked for my opinion, so here 'tis:

Tampa Bay Lightning is poor... the choice of font is poor... I know you are trying to simulate lightning, but it is not a good font.

Blue and White are fine for colors.

However, these are for jg2977... it is his call to make... not mine.

Quickly wrapping up my opinion of your recent work.

I see some improvement in the proper use of colors... you still need to get better in your designs... I would use no more than 2 or 3 colors... be sure to use colors that go together well.

Vancouver colors are fine... look good together... but the jerseys and caps are not something I would use... the end product is not as good as the choice of colors.

Florida colors are fine, except for the gold... don't really care for how the jerseys and caps came out... you should try to use the lightning flash logo on the jersey or cap.

Mighty Ducks' colors are fine... purple, green and gold go together well... but the jerseys and caps don't look good in my estimation... I also mentioned previously that AMG is not usually used on caps or jerseys.

Well, the hockey team used red, blue, and yellow, and he wanted a take on them in those colors, so those are the colors I used for the second take on the Rockies for him. The first three caps seen above were for my original take on the Rockies more than a year ago, circa May of last year, EC. Just to remind you of that particular fact here, you see. Remember when I was exploring a Heritage-type theme for various MLB teams in one of my thought-veins back then? I'm still not done doing items in that particular thought-vein, if memory serves me correctly, but I've not been able to return to it well enough since when I posted several such items for it related to various MLB teams.

There are at least several dozen teams I have already done various uniforms for, but not caps, and I would like to catch up on that list of teams as soon as I can, and as best as I can. Although it might take a while, with still over 80 teams on that list at present, of course, to make up enough caps to go with the related uniforms, you know.

Of course, some of the teams I've recently done work on for him here may perhaps need even more work done on them later. But for now, at least, I still think I turned out at least some good work on most of the items for them, if not all of them. I'm actually working on some prospective items for the Cleveland Barons at the moment, but it's still going to probably take at least a little while longer to finish making them and post them up here, just the same, I think, EC.

I'll probably do at least three different takes on the Barons here, if not more, in due time, including the take I'm working on now for them, it seems to me. Hopefully, when I get all the items posted for them that I might likely do for them here, he'll like at least some of them enough to perhaps even use them in the future at least a few times, for his games, of course. But, as you know, that is entirely up to him here, not me, for sure, EC.

While you were off on your vacation, at least for the most part, if not entirely, EC, I managed to make caps for the following teams, to go along with the uniforms I'd made for them quite some time ago, which may have still been lacking them for their respective sets in sufficient quantity, if not totally:

The first three Colorado Rockies caps that you saw above were made today, I believe, to match three previously-existing uniforms for them that I'd made quite some time ago, just so you know. I still have many more teams to catch up on, at least caps-wise, to be sure.

There are about 80 or so teams of mine that I've made uniforms for, but not matching caps for, so far, it seems to me. So it's probably going to take at least a little while to make the 80-200 or more caps needed, perhaps, to go along with the relevant teams' available uniforms, I think.

Plus, there are many other teams I haven't even done uniforms and/or caps for, if it will be up to me to do them in time, of course. Most, if not all, of those teams will probably require me to outfit them with suitable enough uniforms and/or caps to work well with their appropriate nations, whether real or fictional ones, for sure. Supposing that nobody else does any work for any or all of them, for that matter, you see.

Realistically speaking, it will probably be at least Thanksgiving, if not Christmas, before I'm somehow able to collect or make all the needed items for all those teams of mine, if at all possible and all, I think. Especially if certaom others don't help me out greatly with them here, in any case. And especially if I am somehow actually able to catch up a great deal on a number of my currently-unfinished writing projects, for instance, you know. And it's almost 7 months until I turn 50, by which time I hope to somehow actually finish at least the first draft of Lighting Up the Darkness, Lord willing and all, at the very least, if not actually complete the entire manuscript's first draft. Or complete one or more of my other currently-stalled stories, for that matter, come to think of it, EC.

My first take on the Cleveland Barons, with uniforms in this post, and caps in the next. The font currently in question on these items and the related caps will be Manuscript-Extended, and the only non-white and non-black color currently present on them all is the same shade of red they used for the real NHL team, I believe, as follows:

Yes, those were the Colorado Rockies NHL franchise from 1976-1982, then they became the New Jersey Devils.

I don't know how good a career he'll have yet, of course, jg2977. But, hopefully, K.J. will still somehow stick around for a while, and set some fairly tough statistical marks for AG to try and reach as a catcher in the second generation of your current IPA. I don't currently anticipate K.J. to eventually have at least one son in the future who might actually make it into your IPA, but he will at least have daughters who will be the wives of Gordon and his three brothers, in any case. Those women will also be the mothers to the second-generation Freemans' children, for sure.

We'll work out each generation's potential crop of players as time permits and all, I'm sure, but I currently think only eight to ten players, at most, will be proposed by me for Henry's generation when it comes to your IPA. I don't currently expect to submit at least a ninth player for this generation, if not also a tenth, but there are still five players of the eight players we've agreed on so far with yet-unsubmitted profiles here, it seems.

Either Jethro Morse or Jedediah Holmes will definitely be the next player I privately submit a proposed IPA player profile for later on to you, jg2977. If I ultimately decide to have Jethro actually skip college, he will certainly be the next. Otherwise, Jedediah will be the next. Just so you know. You might perhaps look at any Adopt a Prospect-type thread or threads so you can better see what I'm basically basing the various proposed player profiles on that I've previously sent you in the past, or may perhaps send you in the future, just as a mere suggestion to you here, jg2977. Perhaps you can even get some useful ideas for your own created players' profiles in various dynasties as well, come to think of it?
