While waiting for baseball season to begin again in the Topps Vault, and taking a break from the bottomless Lexibell archive, I thought I would check some of the other Topps Vault folders still in the index that have not yilelded images.
Bingo! Found an trove of images in Folder FK!

More than 200 images, many of which are on exisiting Topps cards, including many B&W images that were colorized. Have not completed the checklist, but here's the link to my work in progress, as well as the link to the index folder.

Your "cluttering up the board" ship sailed long ago. The Cleveland player is Bob Hale (the image was used on his 1961 card. The black and white A's image is of pitcher Dan Pfister.

John Lawrence Sullivan, dated APR 3 1922 and noted as "Sullivan Philadelphia," listed at RMY Auctions.

Sullivan played with the Braves in 1920 and '21 as well as the '21 Cubs. He split 1922 between the Columbus Senators and the L.A. Angels according to bb-reference.

I saw the listing but I'm not certain that they have the ID right. John L. Sullivan was a righty and the photo does not appear to be reversed.

For what it's worth, the photo accompanying John Lawrence Sullivan's bio on BB-Reference doesn't seem to be the same guy. Check the ears!

you're likely right... I had my doubts because of the Philadelphia notation, and I should've checked the Phillies and A's. The Phillies had a lefthander named Tom Sullivan who appeared in three games in 1922. If you think it's Tom, I'll correct the original post.

I think there's a very good chance you're right but I only have two confirmed images of Tom A. Sullivan, both attached. Neither is good enough to give us a really good comparison with the RMY image.

I've written to RMY to see if they can offer any clarification. I'll post the response when I hear from them.

Not that anybody needs these images, but MLB apparently took some portrait shots of the Mets and Royals prior to last year's World Series (pretty much starters only). I found these at the Just Mets blog (which, along with the fact that I'm a Mets fan, helps explain why I don't have any Royals for you...but they're out there). Hadn't seen them before, so... Won't be too long and Photo Day will be here again (yay!).
