1955 World Series: Fairfax Frogs (102-61) vs. New Yerby Yankees (140-22)

For the first time, the IPA title series will be known as the World Series. As the IPA is now the top baseball league in the World, this makes perfect sense. All 80 owners voted Yes unanimously to approve the change from the Pro Cup.

After losing the past two IPA Pro Cups, the Yankees finally got it done. In the first year that the title series is known as the World Series, the third time was a charm. It's the Yankees' 8th title, and their first in twelve years. They have a powerful young team, and this could possibly be the start of another Yankee dynasty in the making.
