So this is what it's like to face the 2-time defending Gold Champs......what an ass whipping. We know who the the kings of Kansas are as if there was ever any question.

Scoreboard:
Mitt Slingers 7-23-2 (3) = 19
Bald Beavers 23-7-2 (14) = 62
Ouch, that hurts. I feel your pain and don't worry to much about it the Muckboys who have been the second best team in the Gold Conference the last two season are a whole 0-4 with 3 blowouts against the Beavers. Its what they do, they just crush teams.

Good job with your HW guys. I was shocked to see Chuvalo getting KO'd in both of his fights. He's been quite disppointing so far this season.

When I post the stat's, you'll be happy to see that your HW count for 49 of 168 total points on your team. That's a massive 29.17%

If you can just get more production from the rest of your guys, your team will definitely fare better next season.
Thanks for the kind words. I was shocked that Chuvalo was stopped twice. Suprising that he hasnt fared better thus far. Yes,I have been really happy with my heavyweights. Really my only bright spot. Well, they better improve because I traded my draft picks for next year away. Still,I got Tucker,Little Pancho and Arthur Johnson. Tucker has been rock solid and the other two have mixed results so far. I had hoped that Parra would have helped me out some, but he has been a disappointment. You have a solid team and if you can get some production out of Chuvalo that will just be gravy. Good luck the rest of the way.

Losing to the Beavers is nothing to be ashamed of Sal. Whew, what a team that Matt has heaped together. Still,Matt Skeltons success is kind of shocking. The beavers are solid all the way through. I guess like everyone told us at the first of the year..we just gotta take our lumps..lol. Hey,at least you got a win over a non-expansion team. I would really love to get one of those skins on the wall..lol. See ya later.

Actually, my only team win was against the expansion Dublin Guards. I haven't even been close in a match against a veteran team yet.
I agree that the Beavers are the at the top of the heap in the Gold.

Another loss, but still some encouraging things, especially from Sharkey and my new LHW addition......Just a matter of getting some more experience under our belts.

Question I love Jermain Taylor ...

... but KOing Carlos Monzon? Not bloody likely, as our UK friends might say!

And another thing, my former Barbarian, Greco, stuns DeLaHoya after losing to Mellody. Oh, well, anything can happen in the prize ring ...!

Heck, I resurrected Caldwell from the scrap heap of free agents, and he briefly won the UTBA crown before turning it over to teammate Roman. Then, Clayton wins the title formerly held by teammate Olivares while Clayton is still a beginner!

Sorry, had ya confused with another team. Still,ya got a nice little team together..we just have to let our guys get the experience. Look at it this way,by the time our guys get to "prime" the other teams will be "post, end or starting from scratch"..lol. See ya later my friend.

Some really good matches. Congrats to the Mexivilles for their impressive string of knockouts. Really good matchup with the Nobodies and the Haymakers. That DQ really hurt. Another bout that caught my eye...Marvis Frazier lasted 14 rounds with the champ Norton. Maybe Ken is slippin...Tucker and Shavers are training hard..lol. See ya later guys.

Frazier is a battler, he sticks in there pretty well as a 3 rated fighter vs all the tough heavyweights. I think you might have gotten the best of me with Tucker, Im glad hes doing well for you! I think I undervalued him, plus I was extremely scared he wouldnt match up well vs all the tough HW's. I guess I was wrong!

Nice Win Juggernaut...Your team looks real impressive

Berlenbach has really been impressive. I sure wish I would have stuck to my initial instinct and takin him with the 3rd overall pick over Pimental. For some reason I assumed he would still be there with the 11th pick.

My win should of been bigger .. how the heck does Mellody go 1-0-1 and De La Hoya 0-2 against the same competition? Beginners!!! Watch out now as Matthew Franklin goes to pre-prime!!!! Oops there I go again calling him by his real name.
