No, everyone else on the list has reasonable stats. There's a bit of variation depending on whether they're imported as individuals or as part of a big list, but everyone except Babe Ruth has projected stats pretty close to their real-world stats.

Withdrawn. Using a Cleveland Indians/Guardians fix wrecked real life historical minor stats for MILB teams called Indians. Fix removed and issue rectified.

Not sure how they'd be off in your load of players unless there was a glitch with how the db came through when your game started (was it an early version of OOTP23?).

Hmmmm. I can't replicate this and the db source looks accurate. Here he is imported into the game. I do see he has a fake pitching line and associated fielding as a P though from 1905 under Real Stats that needs deleting and fixing, respectively.

Oddly enough when I imported the 1911 version of him into a game to check him out, he came into the FA list as a pitcher.

Hello all!

I started a fictional world starting in 1871 and all Era's can be in the draft at any time. I was simming till 2024 and I keep getting this error in September 1919. Says "Could not find historical database files! Please check your database path in the league options! Amateur draft pool will be imported on draft day if settings are corrected."

I've reinstalled the game, manually and automatically deleted everything and reinstalled, tried creating a new world 3 times and I keep getting this. Has anyone seen this before and is it normal for 1919/1920? I played from 1923-1983 before with no problems so I believe it is only during this year where the issue is.

Then when I hit save i get a different error "APP_FRAMEWORK::save_bookmark_page_links - unable to open data file" I never got this before the 1919 issue so thought they went together.

I cannot import a text file with a list of bbref IDs. The game seems to process everything, but then no players show up.

I have been trying to import players in text files into a league but when I do it none of the players show up even though it says the import has been completed. The text file is formatted as playerid,year ex:boggswa01,1987. Any input on this matter would be appreciated. Thank You!

Where are you looking for them? If you type Wade Boggs in the search bar in the upper right does he show anywhere? Default is as a free agent but if the toggle on the importer is flagged, they are in the next draft class.

With full minors and historical rookies Tony Pena 1976-97 enters the game assigned to the Braves organization. His transaction record at BBRef shows signed by the Pirates as an amateur free agent in 1975 with the next transaction being a tr1987 trade by the Pirates to the Cardinals. There is nothing in the transactions showing the Braves.

However minor league stats show him playing 45 games in 1976 with two Pirates affiliates and 2 games with a Braves affiliate. There are no offensive stats shown for the two games with the Braves affiliate.

I don't know if the two games listed with the Braves organization are an error or if perhaps he was loaned to the Braves organization briefly but with the OOTP setup described Pena should be in the Pirates organization until an OOTP GM trades him.

I reversed the stats & stints order for him in 1976 as they were swapped. Thanks for the catch.

It was luck. I was looking for a trade and in the process stumbled upon a player who should have been in my organization.

Looking at my OOTP I see the Gulf Coast Braves are listed first with the Gulf Coast League Pirates second (with no stats) and then the Pirates Charleston team. Thanks for putting a fix on this.

There are 45 repeated playerids in the master file. In these instances one of them has an actual debut season and another has a 0 for debut season. Someone needs to go through this for each player to see what is happening. File provided.

I created a stock 2016 Historical league and found a couple oddities:

1. The Arizona League and Gulf Coast League were doubled. It doesn't appear that any players were doubled.
2. This Carlos Martinez (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=martin016car) imported with the former ML's (martica04) stats.

Edit to add #3 - It was a full import, but the Atlanta Braves imported with only 57 players in organization. All other teams appear 'normal'.

I caught #2 (the Carlos Martinez issue) a few weeks ago and fixed it in the database. Will be correct in OOTP25.

You are correct, as I go through the rosters of those Brave minor league teams, all the players that should be there, when I look them up, have no 2016 stats. Thanks for flagging this.

Bill Riggins falls into this category as well. I think one of them has him as Orville. riggin000bil seems to be the one that works.

Also, for whatever reason Spot Poles doesn't seem to work with manual import.
