What an amazing game! Ramon Martinez and Vern Parker were pitching to a deadlock! The Brewers got to Martinez, just a little, and he left in the 9th, down 1-0 despite striking out eleven.
Then, in the bottom of the 9th, Larry Greer led off with a pinch hit home run and he was followed directly by a Keith Mylne home run to give Toronto a 2-1, walk-off win!

WP - Roberto Hernandez (2-1)
LP - Steve Foster (5-7)

Record - 46-75

The Blue Jays were held scoreless until the 8th when Stu Pollock homered to spearhead a 3 run inning to give them a 3-1 lead. The Yankees tied it back up in the 9th, however, forcing extra innings where another Toronto home run - this one by Arturo Vazquez - led the Jays to a 4-3, 10 inning outing.

Josh Whittier left the game with a strained hamstring that will cost him most of the remaining season.

WP - Kent Johnson (1-0)
LP - Steve Olin (5-3)

Record - 52-76
