This was a terrible day. The White Sox beat the Blue Jays 6-0 to hand Toronto their eighth straight loss.

In addition, Feng Khu was hit in the face by a pitch. Luckily it turned out to not be serious and will only take a day off.

Juan Noriega was spectaculair in a spot start He struck out with over seven scoreless innings. The bullpen was unable to preserve the shutout but the Jays still beat the Rays, 3-1.

Right after winning Pitcher of the Month, Micah Coker announced his retirement. He tore his rotator cuff and decided that enough was enough.

Coker reached AAA in 2022 with Memphis.

He had two stints with the Blue Jay organization - the most recent coming when he was part of a package from the Nationals for Jordan Dunatov.

There is a rumour going around that the Jays are doing some housecleaning after this season.

Bench Coach Demarlo Hale and Hitting Coach Chad Mottola are not being offered extensions.
