You keep making an assumption that Germany = US in terms of pandemic conditions and response. That could not be further from the truth. Ideally, the US would have their poop together on this. Must need Flash Player or something, because I can briefly see it before it disappears. C'mon people, get with the program. html5 is here, it's better, and doesn't come with anywhere near the security risks that Flash Player comes with. I would sincerely hope that you wouldn't need Flash in 2020. Are there *any* sites out there that still run Flash?

My dumb cable company's online TV works on Flash, which is absolutely stoopid, but kind of in keeping with other aspects of the operation.

EDIT: Also, there's the fact that Flash will not work with at least a couple of browsers in five and a half months. Painful

Baseball owners are very poor but the Dodgers managed to scrape together about $365 million to give to Mookie Betts even though it doesn't look like they'll sell many tickets this season and who knows about next

It's still embarrassing that we had to get to this point to even get a season. Either Manfred should have intervened sooner or the owners should have met the MLBPA at the halfway point.

Honestly, I think Toronto refusing to allow the Blue Jays was a sign the league should have taken a couple months ago. This is not a great situation, the league isn't handling it particularly well (look to the NBA for a better, if more draconian, handling), and it just looks to me like an outbreak waiting to happen. If one doesn't, great, but I'm not optimistic...
