Brian Flynn overcame a tough 1st inning to pitch a strong game. It was Beau Taylor's 10th inning home run that did the trick, as the Jays beat the Royals 6-4.

Carlos Belen, Yadiel Rivera, and Christian Colon also homered for Toronto.

Adam Conley pitched a good game but the Jays were still behind going in to the 9th. Then, though, Christian Colon homered to send the game to extras before Carlos Belen homered to give the Jays a 10 inning, 3-2 win over the Rays.

Not only did the Blue Jays fall 5-1 to the Yankees, but Caleb Thielbar left the game with pain in his elbow. It turned out to be a bone spur which will shelve him for 2-3 weeks.
