What I feel are three simple suggestions for the players stats page

1. Have a "Hide Partial Rows" option like the one that on Baseball-Reference. It's a small feature, but definitely the addition that I want the most. Looking at the career stats page for some guys is an absolute mess without it, mainly relievers that get traded at the deadline all the time

2. Under "League Scope", have the option to choose between "amateur stats" (aka the generated high school and college stats) and "professional stats" (which would be everything else essentially). Basically I want to be able to sometimes just view a players minor league stats and ignore the HS and COL.

3. More sorting options for the Fielding Stats page because it can also get pretty cluttered. I'd like the option to view stats by position (or also by team)

3 things.
1. More Jersey slots. I would love to see more jersey slots. Many teams have alternate jerseys and i would love to see it added for OOTP 22.

2. 1st/3rd base coaches. MLB the show has this. I would love it if OOTP would have 1st and 3rd base coaches. Maybe include an aggressive rating as well so that some 3rd base coaches are more aggressive than others.

3. More pitches. One of the most popular pitches in baseball is the two-seam fastball. It's also one of the most effective pitches in baseball. Yet it's not in the game. Yes the sinker and two-seam fastball are similar pitches. But at the same time they're two separate pitches.

There are a few minor things I would like to see added to this great game, either with this version on future versions:

1. A pop up box that would show what the current batter has done in each Previous at bat in the current Game.
2. The date of the game being played on the game screen, the time is shown but not the current date.
3. A pop up box or a button that would show the schedule screen that could be used during the actual ball game.

John

1. This is why I would love to have a scoresheet instead of, or in addition to the game log. Could then get the info for all batters coming up in the inning in a glance.

2. I believe the date is there, at least in modern 3d, on the "weather\ ballpark factor " widget.

3. would be a nice addition

More direct player management, training and practice focus

I'd like to be able to manage players/team deeper in terms of setting practice goals and influence the growth and function of the team around my ideas.

(One of the first things a lot of people would immediately use this for is training fielders to throw home on 0 or 1 outs with a man on third.)

I feel the same way. Where does all the money go that we put into player development? The monthly emails we get seem like such a crap shoot. This was supposed to be a reply to the post directly above. Clearly I don't spend a lot of time on the boards.

I'd like the option to have the higher seeded team in the playoffs to start with a 1-0 series advantage. Basically a best-of-6 or best-of-4 playoff series

i'd love a bio screen with personal tidbits for players for use in commentary or personal records. I play lots of fictional and this would add another dimension.
I'm not sure if its possible or not but to appoint or have former players added as coaches/managers etc.
I'd like the ability to have a play by play team assignment in the front office, etc. The play by play could reference the persons name. Color commentary would be great maybe two different colors for the play by play or dialogue boxes.

- Pitcher rotation options '1x/2x/3x/4x/ through the order' before removed
- Page Up/ Page Down keyboard press to my major/minor league teams (same way I can scroll through players using up/down arrow keys)
- IL history for players should have totals for days/weeks injured/spent on IL

I would like to see a TV style overlay when each batter comes to the plate. Basic AVG. HR RBI and maybe the pitcher at the start of the game and when a new pitcher comes in. The overlay would show maybe 3-5 seconds or so and then fade. I think it would add to the playing out the games in 3D.

Making and saving your own defensive alignment so it's in the drop down of defenses during a game. 4 outfielders, 5 infielders, 3rd baseman playing on 2nd base side of the infield and so on. Drag and drop the player(s) where you want him and save it.

Adding (at least as an option) of a 3rd place game/series, at least for tournaments (if not for leagues).

Ability to copy and paste from outside the game

I would like to be able to copy a players history off of milb.com or mlb.com and paste it into the games player history to detail past trades or free agent signings.

You cant do that now and its a pain in the butt typing all that stuff in when its right there to be copy and pasted

Have a Winter Ball option so I can get minor league players reps at positions that I'd like to try them out at, but don't have enough room for in the spring (and development through the minors is slow, especially in the short season leagues)

Front Office Career Mode

Right now, you can get a job as a GM or Manager, but I wonder if OOTP might be the lone game that could offer an executive equivalent to "Road to the Show." I'm not sure exactly what it would look like, but I think it could offer a really fun and new dynamic for the game.

You could start as either an area scout or a quantitative analyst and be given tasks -- scouting players, giving input on draft picks and transactions, assisting in the establishment of a new organizational mindset (like "The Cardinal Way."). Maybe you are given statcast data to interpret, or you're asked to identify trade targets, or you make recommendations for promotions, extensions, free agents, etc. I don't know. There'd be a lot to flesh out. But, I just think it would be fun to have to earn a job as GM.

Would also love to see more in-depth hirings in the front office. Would much rather hire a Farm Director or Director of Player Development than a hitting coach for the rookie league squad.

the new additions to OOTP XX. What I have not seen is any feedback from people indicating what they want to see in future editions of OOTP. With that said...go ahead and list everything YOU want to see in OOTP 21. Nox Vidmate VLC

- Handle scouting like FHM or FM. We need a scouting department instead of just a single scout, that will go and scout different parts of the world and you can set certain focuses like power, contact, etc. that would be more accurate than normal while other ratings will be less accurate.

EDIT: Just increase staff numbers in general. Maybe a Director of Player Development, maybe a Farm Director, Base Coaches, etc.

- We have reserve rosters for minor league unaffiliated teams, add them for all minor league teams.

- Add in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 draft, and possibly add in Minor League Spring Training too.

Multiple Leagues

I say it every year. Being able to have more than 2 leagues/conference would definitely increase the single player fictional league enjoyment.

A play by play announcer would be cool even if its a text to speech narrarator
