Real stuff

Bill Upham only played two years in the big leagues. However, he did win 98 minor league games.
Frank Brazil also only played two big league seasons, but is a member of the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame.
Dolf Luque played two years in the Negro Leagues - but he was light-skinned and able to come to the majors afterwards.

Real life stuff - Noodles Hahn won 22 games for the last place Cincinnati Reds in 1901 and had 41 complete games, a 20th century record for a left-handed pitcher, while striking out 239 batters. Hahn was consistently one of the best pitchers in the league from 1899-04 for the Reds, at a time when they never finished higher than third. Hahn's arm burned out at the relatively young age of 27.

Hahn fared much better in MLB Modified!!
