1892 League Changes

National League
-Baltimore Orioles join from AA
-Louisville Colonels join from AA
-St. Louis Browns join from AA
-Washington changes name to "Senators" and join from AA

American Association

-Boston Reds fold
-Cincinnati Kelly's Killers fold
-Columbus Solons fold
-Philadelphia Athletics fold

After existing for 10 years as a rival league to the NL, the American Association ceases operations and now the National League will stand alone as the sole professional league.
