Well, pooey. I had Duke in Elite 8 in one of my brackets and..... Final Four in another. Ah, well.
If Wright St can pull off this upset like I picked I'll be a little happier. |

In the bracket that I just picked teams I liked, I am 11/12. In the bracket I concentrated on, I am 8/12. March Madness, everybody.

The only thing that was going to salvage this day for me was going to be a Wright St. upset of Pitt which won't be happening.
If I'm going to do poorly on my bracket (looking like 11-5 with an elite 8 team out already) the games need to atleast be entertaining which they certainly were not outside of the Duke game. |

Apparently it's a rule that if I picked a team today they had to blow an 8-10 point 2nd half lead.

Divide 3 decades in half and you might have a point.

I am extremely excited for tomorrow. I don't plan on getting out of my bed/computer chair all day.

Hopefully the games are better tomorrow, they pretty much have to be. This is the worst first day I can remember. Maybe something crazy will happen in the next 30 minutes? Like, oh I don't know, a ridiculous Eastern Kentucky come back victory over UNC? |

That BYU-Xavier game was pretty good.

I don't know, they've averaged right near an "Elite 8" finish under Coach K for the past 30 years (averaging nearly 3 wins in the tourney every single year; a full win better than UNC, UK etc.. over the same span). They've been to 6 title games, won 3. 10 or 11 Final Fours spanning back to 86, I believe. Seems pretty friggin' dominant to me. Kentucky can't claim that. UNC can't. UCLA can't. Not over the past 30 years, anywho. UCLA obviously had the most dominant span ever in college hoops.

Xavier wins and I lose yet another game in which the team I picked outplayed their opponent for 35 minutes and then blew it.
