Isnt this sheepish to some extent?

I guess so. I was thinking of a person whose eyes goes left to right, mock "looking" around at others I guess.

Probably not, as I don't know how much I would play it. As for the second part, well it is good in the eyes of someone who knows nothing about golf, but maybe not to the pros, and it is certainly not one for a console gamer.

Paul...you are a wolf in sheeps clothing. We all know better.

Its an effective strategy though..even Sun Tzu recommends it. IRL, you are too bright to be sheepish.

Console gaming is becoming more for the see and react/button mashing sheep amongst us. its hard for me now to play anything but FM. It is just too deep and challenging.

Like I said a few pages ago then, I'm an attention seeker who should know better. I should just be ignored, or hated like LDo if you want.

You are not an attention seeker. You have kept quiet about your education. I'd say you are extreemly bright. And sensitive. You know that I have played Footiemanager for three years and have known many people in the UK. You are not like our typical UKer. If you want me to ignore or hate you I suppose I could but I would rather be friends.

That is the whole point... we are only (grudgingly) recognised as four separate nations because we maintain the illusion. Most of the world objects to the existence of our four FAs, and we would find it impossible to maintain our unique status if we started to draw on the British factor when it suited us. Giggs was a complete non-starter if you wanted England to continue to exist in football terms.

To say the FA should have called him up regardless is saying they should have committed suicide. Giggs would not be an England international today, he’d be a British international, and that is something none of us want.

You really think India don’t care about the major warm up event for the World Cup, and one played in their own backyard to boot? I’d suspect they will be vastly more concerned about their performance there than the South Africa tour. Moreover the whole point seems rather irrelevant. There was no either/or question about Murali playing for Lancashire or India. He was left out long before we even mooted the idea of bringing him back to Old Trafford, and the tournament doesn’t begin until Lancashire’s year is over anyway. I’d accept your case if we were talking about the Malaysian tournament, but not the Champions Trophy. Nope, he was deemed unfit for one day cricket in October, yet we’ve decided o use him in four day cricket in September.

Normally the Champions Trophy is an mickey mouse event, but this year most of the nations seem to be taking it very seriously indeed. You only have to look at the efforts the Australians put into arranging a warm up event for it after their long layoff as case in point.

EDIT: Anyone else seeing double Must be a first, a double post within a post.

Yes I do think that. Remember, this is the same BCCI that threatened to pull out of the Champions Trophy because they didn't want to play in it - probably because they don't get much money out of playing in it.

You can stick a fork in the Rangers - they are done. The postseason express from Tex-ville is cancelled.

EDIT - And they scored three again, and lost. Five out of the last six games they've done that.

Always with the negativity. If its September the 10th and Texas are where they are now..then make that strong statement.
