We needed that win, we needed it badly. Davis and Polo both did great in their debuts couldn't ask for more as for Weaver not so much hopefully he does better next time around. Jhonny and Rodolfo Gonzalez both need to stop losing to lesser fighters I can't afford to have that keep happening.

As for the first match, jeez Bennett over Moore thats got to be the biggest upset in the history of the UTBA.

Losing 49-37...14-18(bouts) to Muckboys is not too bad. I just get killed in the lighter weights. Hopefully with the additions of Johnson and Pancho I can maybe sneak in an upset or two this year. Happy with my big boys Shavers and Tucker, also my middleweights have done OK. My welterweights have been hit or miss..McCrory has been a pleasant suprise, but I really expected more from Stracey. Good game Romdawg. Good luck the rest of the way. What an upset for Sals guy Bennett...whew..congrats Sal. Hope everyone is safe and sound tonite..and warm..lol. See ya later guys...got some nice boxing to watch tonite.

Damn, I was hoping the Guardsmen would hold the Barbarians to fewer points so I could sneak into second place instead I lose some ground on Vista's boys. Maybe next week.

Heck of a bounce back perforcmence by the West this week assuring ourselves a overall winning record for this round after going 0-5 last week.

Don't worry about losing the lighter weight battle the lower classes have been the strong point of this team from day 1 and I would put my group up against any other in the UTBA without fear. Y'all put up a heck of a fight you've got a tough team there. Once they go pre-prime y'all are going to be a big threat.

Hey, a win is a win... and I'll take whatever I can get since the Tomatoes really suck this season. 38 Points may be the lowest score by a winning team so far. Even with the win, Tomato City will continue to live in the cellar of the West Divison.

Only 3 guys went 2-0 this week: Chuvalo, Gardner & Pintor.

I'm a little surprised that McGovern ended up with a Draw against Terry Spinks.

Big thumbs up to Fausto Rodriguez for his DQ win over Lloyd Honeyghan and Juan Zurita for his W-TKO12 of Freddie Welsh. It's not often that a 4 rated guy takes down an 10 rated guy.

Finally, I need to make this very clear - DIEGO CORRALES STINKS!!!
1-6-1 (0) for a 9-rated fighter is unacceptable!!! Something has got to change soon.

It was more what I said post-fight, after they cost me the match.

Cap Room needed

On the trade block

Sanstol
Taylor
Brewster
De La Hoya (need to be a great offer)
Wlad (would be a very steep price)

Cap room needed so the trade will need to be for a 4 to 5 rated fighter plus a pick. Keep in mind I don't have a first round pick ... hint hint.

Non tradeables on my team are Siriwat, Johnson, Arguello and McGuigan (Barry is at the border ... I'd need to be almost as overwhelmed as any offer for Wlad)
