So it's been a few weeks since SAL has logged in so it might be time for us to think about Dave taking over and starting up league again until SAL gets back. I say if SAL has shown back up by Feb 27 then the co-commish takes over.

Yeah,I'm OK with that..even sooner..anytime is fine with me. When you dont hear from Sal for a couple of weeks it can mean a pretty long absence if the past is any indication. Either way is cool with me. Sal Ok'ed Dave taking over when he fails to show so I think it would be OK to proceed like last time. Still, whatever you guys decide is fine by me.

I have no problem temporarily taking over the league again, but would like to at least wait until next week. As with what happened last time, the single Week 9 match that already has run will have to be discarded since I don't have a copy of the db in which that match was run.

Also, keep in mind that the week's action will not progress as fast as with SAL because it takes me a lot of time to update all of the stats that I track.

No problem at all. We can wait for Sal as long as you guys want. Whatever you and Sal decide is always fine by me. I do miss it when we take a break though..LOL. Peace fellas.

Thats why I suggested we wait until the 27th before doing anything. It would give SAL extra time to reappear as well as give you time get ready.

I wouldn't worry about the pace Dave. Any discernable forward movement would be appreciated.

Return of UTBA-II

As long as there are no objections, I would like to relaunch UTBA-II Week 9 matches this week.

The one previously run Week 9 Match will have to be voided out since the most current db that I have only contains the Week 8 matches.

I have to back out of the stats that I compiled for that voided match and should be ready to start no later than Wednesday or Thursday.

Things may run a bit slow, but hopefully it won't take too long to get back into the swing of things. As was the case last time, until Scot (SAL) returns, please direct any league business to me (Romultiltus). Once Scot returns, I'm sure that he will pick things again and we'll be back on schedule.

Only one match tonight.

I just realized that the db that I have does not reflect the waiver claims that were made. I need to update the db and my stats sheets. Then I can move on with Week 9...

Dave has probably saved me from cranking out some overdue Bink Gazettes this weekend. Its hard to go back and review/write when you've lost 6 in a row and the streak could easily hit 8 (or more).

Sunday I turn 60 at about 11:24 p.m., and that's giving me cause to pause and ponder. I've overcome some recent (last half year) adversity at work, and wish that somehow life begins at 60.

I'll probably play with my cats, give them some catnip and myself many beers, and chat with my parents, whose continued life (at 88 & 86) is the best birthday present I could ever receive! Well, I know a few women who could give me a better present! Maybe the Binks will rise to the occasion!

The Binks! King-makers, heart-breakers or cannon fodder? Which is it gonna be, Thunder and Bear? We've been training with the Toronto Tornados, and may just be hitting our peak!

Mike, thats the difference between your team and mine...your team is training, and my team thought we were your sparring partners.
