Pretty sure that's the same file set. Same version # (1.4) and same size exactly. And fails in the same way.

Wrigley 1928-1937 still CTDs

I think that may be the same set again. Still says version 1.4 and the byte count remains the same. I have now downloaded Wrigley 1928-1937 from 5 different locations. All show the same version # (1.4) and all but one the same byte count (13,118,222; one, the 2nd one I tried, shows 19,362,703).

All fail in the same way: a few seconds of crowd noise, then CTD.

In 16 years of play from 1919 to 1934, I have now tried 28 sets of park files (18 NL--including Wrigley 1938-1978--and 10 AL). All work except Wrigley 1928-1937.

For this reason I doubt that the problem is my copy of OOTP or my OS.

Do Silvam14 or Adion monitor this forum? Maybe one of them can shed some light.

Thanks.

None of the parks in this set below have version numbers, e.d. 1.4. So, I don't what your are talking about and yes, both monitor.

Braden,

Thanks for quick reply.

This link which you sent me on 02/11/2026 https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=287547 includes the mediafire link--which yields error 404--and, just below, a set of links to ballpark models, which are accessible. I assumed that meant the contents were the same. In that list, the name of the Wrigley 1928-1937 .zip file ends with " 1_4."

The mediafire link which you just posted appears to be the same one. Error 404.

It did the same for me, I guess copy&pasting to here did not work. It works file from Silvam's mods page.

Do you mean this page?

https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=287547

Succeeded in downloading that .zip file. But I'm not currently visiting the Cubs, so AFAIK I can't test loading that park until I get that far, which will take several days. Is there a way?

I did succeed in creating a 1-game exhibition using the 1928 Cubs as the home team. But there does not seem to be a way to change the park files. When I tried to play it with whatever version of Wrigley 1928 it already had, it crashed in the same way as all previous attempts.

Whatever season you are in, you can look/load each park by clicking on the MLB (or whatever is the name for your game, and select settings then select edit ballparks and you can select the park for each team.

Yes, but AFAIK I can't test whether it works except when my team is playing a game there. That was my question: is there a way?
