I hope someone can attend to my St. Clair-related request and my most recent request thread in the Graphics thread soon related to the Central Highlands Baseball Council for my fictional nation of Thaqubrem, as well, so that I can start creating my first OOTP 22 non-imported dynasty. But we'll have to see, of course.
EC, I was finally able to complete another chapter for one of my stories, so I finally downloaded and installed 22. I haven't gotten into it yet, but I hope to very shortly, even as I do more research about various things for one or more of my current stories, to be honest. Maybe even by the end of the week, if not next week, at the latest. I'm still stuck on Lighting Up the Darkness, but hopefully this latest chapter for one of my current fanfiction stories may have given me some sufficiently useful ideas for possible developments in one or more chapters of LUtD, if not also certain other writing projects of mine, somehow. At least I'm hoping it has, anyway, that is. Time will tell if and when I'll ever be able to finish that chapter later on, of course, though. Talk more later as time permits and all, I'm sure, Lord willing and all. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, everyone, then. That's all for this post here, at least, I think. CD out.

EC, I am thinking of creating items like you may or may not have previously seen before on these forums from others around here. I've been busy making some really interesting graphics of late, and I might create items using similar patterns to them, if not the actual patterns themselves, on those items. Just wanted to let you know. You know I've been working on graphics, but what I've been doing lately, these items are probably much unlike a lot of other things I've done in the past, graphics-wise, either for here or elsewhere. These items I'm thinking of creating when and if I can for various teams will go past gradients, and are something else quite different. I can't wait to see what you and any number of others here might think of what might be coming next from God and me here with them, once they hit these forums. I think you will be very surprised to see what's coming up, if and when they hit these forums.
Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure. Lord willing and all, of course, that is. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, as always, too. CD out.

CD, you know I just like traditional styles and colors.
I'm not into unique graphics... EC is stuck in the 1950s pretty much graphically speaking. But I will be glad to see what you come up with. Do your graphics the way you enjoy them. You know me very well... I just like the graphics styles of knuckler, txranger, low and about 15 other gifted traditional graphics guys. |

Carl H. Freeman, Orville G. Freeman, and Wulfric S. Holmes pictures
Here are some pictures for your viewing, at least, jg2977, so you might better have a general idea here of what certain people's faces might just look sort of like well enough, if they actually were all real people, and not fictional people. Although I do certainly have to also say that the faces seen below are completely AI-generated here, if memory serves me correctly enough here, in any case.
These three pictures posted below are generally what I think Carl Hubert Freeman, Orville Gregory Freeman, and Wulfric Selwyn Holmes could perhaps each look like, if they were actually real people, somehow, instead of fictional people. These pictures are of each of the just-listed people in the exact order mentioned, just so you know. CD out.

I really have no use for those pictures in my IPA, as I won't be altering the players' FaceGens at all. Whatever the AI generates, that's what they will look like.
It will be interesting to see what your new graphics look like. I hope you post them soon, especially your Taranto Tars creations. Looking at your Turon Typhoons jerseys, they were created when you were using a high degree of shading, so it looks like there are dark smudges on the uniforms. Those can be redone, if you can get to it. Just wanted to be honest about the Kenwood Wildcats and South Fork Stallions. As for Kenwood, I went back to the original uniforms. I think that your style is much too busy, and the originals have a clean, classic look. You might want to try to make new versions of the Wildcats that look more traditional. As for South Fork, I installed Low's version of the Stallions. They look sharp and I love his color choices, and nothing clashes. It's just a nice looking modern uniform with a great logo. The colors are pretty much the same as the Vegas Golden Knights, which are one of my favorite NHL uniforms now. Last edited by jg2977; 05-31-2022 at 11:57 AM. |

Some prospective items for the Taranto Tars so far
Here's some new Taranto Tars items for anyone to consider for possible use in your dynasties, folks. This post will have new uniforms for them, while the next one will have new caps for them, including items that could potentially be used as alternate items. I tried to make the primary uniforms and/or caps in a more traditional style than I normally make such items in, of course. As for the alternates, I decided to use a layer that I made from one of my most recently-made somewhat-intricate patterns here, for your information. Please feel free to comment on any or all of these various items as you like and can, then, within fair and just reason and all, for sure. Thank you all very much for your time and attention and all here, as well.
The font in question, by the way, on the uniforms and caps that are seen below is Essays1743, if memory serves me correctly enough here, folks. Just so you know. That is all for this post here, then, it seems to me. CD out.

And now here are the caps to go with the four uniforms seen above. Same conditions for them as well, of course, folks. That is all. CD out.

Those are very nice, CD. I will install them for my next Taranto game.
The alternates certainly have an interesting look to them. I will have to see what they look like in-game. |

CD, when you make jerseys and caps in the traditional style and traditional colors, they look good to me.
The first two jerseys (black, gray and white) looks fine... but I'm not a fan of the fancy blue with the neon colors mixed in. The spacing on TARANTO AND TARS is not even... there is a slight gap between the T's and the A's. The Black and Gray caps... the first two... look fine except for the white dots on them. I don't think I used any neon effects with the pattern I saved as a layer, actually. I could be wrong, but I don't think I did. I used a kaleidoscopic effect several times, at least, for sure, among other effects and filters, but I don't think I used a neon effect at least once while I was making the base layer on some site.
I took some recolored flags I'd saved from at least one site, and blended them together, for instance, as well as resized them periodically, when needed, while applying various effects and filters and adjustments to the image I was working on that ultimately ended up being the base layer I used for the alternate items. It took me a while to apply all those effects, et cetera, but eventually, I ultimately had at least a few images that I was sufficiently satisfied with to save as potential layers or flags or carpet-like patterns. I've been saving flags for potential use and/or manipulation now for quite some time, it seems. And now I think I'm getting quite a few more patterns made that might be sort of reminiscent of European-style soccer uniforms, for instance. While I certainly will need to keep working at getting better graphics-wise, I think once I start incorporating various styles I may not have largely used before more, many of my items might just look better than they might have often done to date, in certain cases. Thank you very much for your quite useful commentary and all here, as always, of course, EC. As you know, I've done items with various gradients before. This is just the next logical step, or one of the next logical steps, most likely, in terms of developing my graphics skills, I think, in the future. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure, Lord willing and all, you know. CD out.

I'm aware that there is a bit of spacing between the T and the ars in Tars for the home uniform. But I tried to make sure the letters wouldn't overlap, on the home uniform, with or without the outlining present for them. I don't think I put too much spacing on the away uniform either, but I can certainly check that as well, later. I'm not sure why there are dots on the black caps, but they still shouldn't be there, of course. I don't think I saw any dots while making the caps, however. I'll take a look later too, when I can, I'm sure, EC. CD out.

Of course I will, you guys. The spacing may be that way because of the chosen font, at least, I think, but could be wrong about that. I believe I used pure black on the caps, if not also the uniforms, as well. Let me see what I can do to make the relevant items look better than they currently do here. I don't believe the white spots were present, though, when I was using the black on them, in truth. CD out.

Let's try these uniforms and these caps, then. Font has been changed to Gaelic, because I wanted to try and keep at least somewhat of a flowing style, even if it wasn't quite like the earlier takes. I haven't found a more Italianate flowing style that might work better here yet, though. But I did change the font and the shade of black a bit, in any case here, you two, on each of the relevant items, for sure. That is all for now. CD out.

And the matching caps should be in this post here, as well, with the same basic changes and all, at least, I think, you two. Please feel free to comment as you each might like and can, within fair and just reason and all, of course, you know. CD out.

CD, I check this thread almost daily... there is no need to post on my Islandian Pro Alliance and the South Island League about this thread.
I prefer to communicate here. You don't need to remind me about this thread on my other threads. I stay up-to-date on your graphics here in case you want constructive criticisms and suggestions. |
