An 8th inning Grand Slam by Ron Cooper brought the Jays back in this game but the Mariners still overcame them in the 14th, with a walk off, 8-7 win.

That is six losses on a row for Toronto.

Jake Bernard and Steven Stevens also homered.

Jake Walters left the game with a hand injury. We are unsure how serious it is.

Rick Porcello announced that he will retire after this season.

He played 15 years in the Majors, for the Tigers, White Sox, Mariners, and Dodgers.

The Blue Jays signed him to a minor league deal in September of 2024, but he hasn't made it past AAA.

Elvin Chaney pitched very well but got zero run support. Thankfully that wasn't the case for the bullpen and the Jays pulled out a 4-2 win over the White Sox.
